Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles

The location is quiet and easy commute to most things NOVA. The room itself wasn’t too bad, clean but the were not soundproofed. The website show a breakfast bar that no longer existed and the night we stayed we could hear people partying, kids screaming well until 2 AM.

I stay here 4-5 times each year for extended business trips. The beds are comfortable. The service is great. The gym is exceptionally well equipped. Restaurant service is good and the food is above average for a quality hotel. The grounds are beautiful, and there are paved jogging trails that loop all of the government buildings across the street. WiFi is free if you sign up for a free Marriott Bonfoy membership. The only downsides are that there is no onsite laundry and the A/C can be a little finicky at night. For longer stays it would be nice to have access to a washer/dryer. For shorter stays, no big deal. I noticed on this trip that they had upgraded the thermostats so it looks like they’re working through that issue. My family flew out for the weekend at the end of my 12-day business trip. They were also impressed and comfortable.

I booked 5 weeks prior to stay- 2 rooms - upon arrival they stated they overbooked- they could give me another room with a rollout bed- at no charge. Bar- restaurant not open - ordered out and the breakfast buffet was very sad- more choices at a complimentary breakfast at other hotels - this family trip was horrible and a waste of my hard earned money -
