Holiday Inn Chantilly-Dulles Expo Center, an IHG Hotel

I booked 4 rooms for a family relaxation / spa weekend. While checking in, we weren’t given any information about check out time or amenities. Until I asked the front desk, I was never informed that the pool would be closed for renovations. Usually this information is posted on the site or in your confirmation email. My room was missing a lock. They did change my room for security and I appreciate that. The one night we stayed, we smelled a strong natural gas odor in the lobby. I asked if it could be the restaurant or fireplace but I was met with an interrogation and disbelief. I was told no one could inspect or confirm that it was safe at that time. Instead they questioned me about my full name and room number, yet no one addressed it the next day either. Overall, the rooms were good and seemingly clean. The staff was nice, even if they weren’t informative. However, I would choose another hotel room next time.

The staff there are extremely kind and helpful. When my taxi didn't arrive on time, they drove me to my destination... I feel like a family when I was there without a car... Very quite and clean and easy to find meals! Great place to stay.

Excellent check-in, friendly service. Rooms were clean but are a bit dated and had lots of pealing paint/overall warn look. The pool was out of order which is nobody's fault and I get things happen. Was just a disappointment after promising two kids a swim in the pool if they could get through the long day in the car. If you are going sometime soon be sure to check the status of the pool.
