Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City-Sandy

we Loved the 1 bdrm room that we got that had the living room and a bigger couch and a pull-out bed, so we were all able to spend time together in the room also it was pretty big and had a full kitchen, so we were able just to cook something instead of getting a bunch of fast food and they are pet friendly and the pool stays open till 11pm. was deff a nice place to stay at and had a dining room table that we all could sit at and eat as a family.

Great overall experience: high-quality daily buffet breakfast, early check-in provided, excellent 1BR King bed suites for both rooms that I reserved, and great customer service by staff. Improvement is needed for the refresh for the rooms that are provided every other day: 1 out of 2 rooms has missed refresh, a room with 4 people only received 3 bath towels, and both rooms were not replenished with toilet paper. Toilet paper was provided if you called the front desk. Also, I was expecting manager reception nightly but was told it was discontinued post-pandemic and no longer offered. However, it is still listed as an amenity on Expedia where I booked my reservation. This was one of my expectations that influenced my selection of the Residence Inn, having enjoyed this amenity on prior visits to the Residence Inn Sandy Utah location. The discontinued manager receptions were a very popular amenity for post-skiing gatherings with family members during our past stays.

This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed and I’ll be back! Amazing staff! Great location for both pleasure and business. If you have a family a GREAT please with a basketball, court, pool etc

My family and I had a great experience. Indoor pool was a hit.

The hot complementary breakfast was amazing. Pool conditions were nice. Mostly families or business people staying here so it felt safe and friendly.

Rebekah checked us in & is one of the friendliest people I've ever met; she was a great welcome to the hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with 2 king beds in it. One of the bathrooms light above the vanity was going out & could've easily caused a seizure it was so bad. Then they have 3 bottles on the wall in the shower & are attached by what looks like 3m adhesive. The problem with that is when it gets wet it doesn't stick, so yep we were woken up at 1am by one of the bottles falling off the wall & into the bathtub. We had requested a quiet room as we are extremely light sleepers & that immediately woke us up & we couldn't go back to sleep, go figure. Other than fixing the issues in the bathroom, the only thing I would say that needs fixed is the way the a/c works. It's one a/c for the entire unit. They should have the window ones or something for the bedrooms as we like it very cold when we sleep but the kids like it warm, so we had to shove a towel in their vent, which only helped a tiny bit. Luckily there was an extra blanket in the closet that helped them a little bit. I wish they would've had the magnetic vent covers, that would've been an over the top touch! The kids said the pool was nice & warm. The breakfast area was nice, a little bit for everyone. What surprised me the most was a Pepsi machine in it! My favorite was the raspberry sauce for the waffles, YUM! We informed the desk clerk at check out about the bathroom issues & she didn't seem to concerned.

Our family of 6 stayed for two nights. The room was very cozy and clean. It also had two bathrooms which made it nice for 6 people. The staff was very accomodating. The room we booked had a problem with the AC so they moved us to a different suite. The outside grounds could use a little more work. Lots of weeds, dry grass. Overall, it is a very nice place to stay. Easy access to freeway and main street for traveling to and from SLC.

Fantastic place to stay. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this facility. We love the convenience when we attend the Hale Theatre and there is plenty of room for our larger family of 6.

We like staying at the RESIDENCE INN they are very roomy and cozy, for the family to be all together in one large room.
