Holiday Inn Express Sandy-South Salt Lake City, an IHG Hotel

Terrible to no wifi and no tv channels. The tv tells you to connect with your phone but can't because it does not connect to wifi. We had maybe 10 channels that worked and 2 worth watching. Not ideal with kids. The indoor pool room was flooded with water when we first walked in (Lounge chairs were floating in water and we had to remove our shoes upon entering), and there was lots of dirt build up in the hot tub.

The staff at this hotel were amazing! They were super friendly and accommodating. Our room was literally brand new - they had just completed the renovation. While some floors are definitely still under construction, we were not bothered by any noise or construction debris. My kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was good as well!

The staff were very nice and extremely accommodating. The pool was closed until 3pm due to renovations but my kids still enjoyed themselves! And the breakfast in the morning was amazing. Will definitely stay again in the future!

The property was clean children, the beds comfortable and sufficient space. The staff was quick and happy to respond to any requests. The breakfast was more than enough, warm and yummy. My favorite part was the staff! Everyone was more than just passively nice. They were extremely willing to help, cheerful and kind! I think it affected the atmosphere and all the guests were cheerful as well. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Plugs were usable for charging electronic devices Room was large enough to have family all in one room, plugs were usable for charging electronic devices, Breakfast was good but needed more bagels and Yogurt, kids style cereal, other items offered for breakfast was excellent, indoor pool and hot tub were great, but drinking fountain in area did not work, although there was one in the gym next door that was awesome. Hotel Staff was very friendly and able to assist with issues we encountered. Convenient location and reasonable price. Breakfast options were great but needed more options for kids on cereal, yogurt, and bagels. Biscuits and Gravy, Sausage, Bacon, Eggs, and Pancakes were awesome, having separate cups for juice and hot drinks was delightful.

Everything was conveniently close by perfect hotel for a small family

Holes in walls, chairs, dirty rags in the first floor hallway when we checked in and still there when we left. I chose this hotel for the amenities as I have children and two of the three listed are out of order/not working or available- I would have chose another hotel had I known them the state of the walls is rough- I’m not sure it’s even guests that have done it though it looks like house keeping runs carts into walls - wall paper peeling off - there’s even a punctured hole in the wall of the shower, the veneer is partially ripped off the door inside. Heater and ac work and there seems to be clean bedding those would be the positives

Comfort and cleanliness was below the high standards of Holiday Inn Express. Service was extremely terrible at breakfast time with no refills of breakfast items and rude responses by staff. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable which should not be the case when they charge more for a family suite.

There was a lot of trash around the pool and in the halls. The beds were very firm and not enough towels in the room for a family stay for 1 night.

this was a one night atay, 3 rooms, 5 adults and 2 toddlers. there was an incident at the hotel that fortunately turned out just to be a big inconvenience. what i really want to call out that there are new owners here. they are clearly working on updates and improvements. the hotel and rooms were very clean. most important was how seriously theanagers took the event, the actions rhey took and the unrequested refund fornour room. they oggered us as late a check out as we needed. i respected the immediaye investigation and follow up to resolve amd eliminate the chances of this happening again. i would give them another chance. i felt better about the customer care and remedy to be better than other places with negative i cidents. the new owners deserve a chance to continue improving the propery and customer experience. Bonus: the hot tub was amazing
