Courtyard Salt Lake City Downtown

Of utmost importance as always is the courteous and professional welcome and greeting by the staff. They made one feel like family or long lost friends, instantly. Next but not least is the impeccable facility--- modern, aethetically pleasing and perfectly clean and tidy public areas that continue into the rooms. Easy in and out parking garage with ample spaces is worth the price. Location is right there in the middle of the cleanest and safest part of downtown across from thr Delta Center, easy access to freeway and all relevant attractions.

The noise from the hallway way so loud. We had families with kids running up and down the hall. Kinda kills the romantic mood.

The pool’s water heater was broken and the hotel did not notify us beforehand. We had planned to use the pool a lot during our stay with our kids because it was below freezing outside. We were very disappointed. The main lobby smelled like a bathroom. Otherwise the hotel was clean. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Very unaccomadating. The room we reserved and paid for 2 weeks ago was booked out before my family of 5 arrived late in the evening. They basically didn't care. Told us to find a different hotel that late or they said would have extra blankets and pillows for my daughter to sleep on floor. That never even happend after calling house keeping and asking the desk once again for the blankets and pillows. Still never happend for the second night either. We did manage to get more towels thankfully. Cramped room with 3 teeneagers for 2 nights. Adjoining room was denied to us also. Im so glad I paid for a large suite just for my kid to sleep on floor. No price adjustment. No give a care whatsoever by mamagment. Not family friendly.

King Room was much smaller than shown on the website.less than 1 ft between bed and wall, about two-three feet between foot of the bed and the sofa. Not enough room to open the sofa bed for our child. I think the hotel would not sell this room to one of their direct customers, but sells the room to online booking agencies like Hotels.com
