My 7 yr old son and I did a little trip to BH for the first time and stayed at the lodge. Super family friendly. Fun indoor pool with a waterfall, outdoor hot tub, arcade room and dining area. Facilities were clean and staff friendly. The only 2 downsides were 1 - we had very noisy late night travelers in the room above us. I should’ve contacted the staff to ask them to quiet down at midnight, but didn’t have a ton of confidence they would. 2 - the lodge doesn’t have a storage room for your luggage while you wait for your room. And the lobby staff did not go out of there way to help in that area. Not a huge deal, but was the only nit-picky thing that would’ve been nice to have. Otherwise, very happy with Brian Head Lodge and will very likely return there in the near future.

I really wanted to give a good review! After reading all the reviews we got worried about our choice, but we’re not as picky when we’re getting a great deal. All in all we did like this property and in the beginning I was sure we’d come back. But after sleeping in their beds I just won’t be able to! Rock hard beds. My whole family including the kids didn’t sleep most the first night and then even the second night after a day of skiing the beds were so painful! I can handle anything else in a hotel, but if I can’t sleep-it’s a no-go. Once they get new mattresses I’d come back. While we’re on the negative, I’ll add the few other things. Bathroom doors need a handle. We couldn’t shut them unless we used our fingernails to pull the door in. The indoor hot tubs had been shut down for 3 years from what we heard. Breakfast was pretty pricy for adults but kids were “free” so I guess it evens out. Still $38 for a basic hot continental breakfast. Also the $20 resort fee was silly when I don’t feel it offered any more than a chain hotel. Little things broken around the hotel and low staff (but courteous). On the good end the pools and hot tub were nice! The resort shuttles were great. Rooms were clean and I don’t feel they were out of date at all. Great for a lodge-like feel. Hot coffee and cold water was always available in the lobby and they kept the parking lot open and clear. Room heaters were amazing and even took a while to cool down at night.

The paper thin walls and unsecured doors allowed sound to propagate without much filtering. We could see light under the door to the gust suite adjacent us. And we could hear people speaking, as if they were near us when we were outside in the snow and they were speaking in their rooms. We slept a total of 3 hours because of other guests running around, babies crying through the night, and guests TVs blaring. Noise ordinances must be enforced when the facilities are so poorly insulated. And, the bathroom was dirty with hairs in the shower and on the tile floor. Carpet stains were visible as well. Lastly, the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. We will not choose to stay here again. This was a significantly disappointing wedding anniversary for my husband and I.

I just got back from my kids first ski trip and had an terrible experience with the hotel. I got at the hotel around 11 am with 2 kids (10 months and 6 years old) coming early from Las Vegas. I was hoping for a early check in. They inform US that the check in is at 4PM. At 4 PM we came back and the room was not ready, kids were tired, cold and sleepy. After another 2 hours waiting in the lobby by 6:15 PM they finally found a clean room. The staff at the restaurant were very unprofessional, took 40 min to get some mediocre food to say the least and got charged double 2 x for it. The hotel is beautiful but the Menegment is terrible.

Beautiful building. Staff was super nice. My kids enjoyed the pool and game room. We were able to bring our dog which was nice. Only bummed that outdoor fire patio was not in use. Otherwise it was an exceptional stay. Will be back for sure.

Room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff were very nice and welcoming. The free breakfast in the morning was very good and I looked forward to seeing the happy/positive breakfast attendant each morning. The pool was a lot of fun for the kids and the hot tub was spacious. The kids also enjoyed the arcade. I enjoyed the wash room to do a load of laundry and the Tesla chargers. We stayed here and explored Cedar Breaks (5 min drive) and Bryce Canyon (1hr drive). Lots of hikes in the surrounding area and really tasty food spots. Highly recommend!

The hotel is decent and you cant beat the location next to the ski slopes, but they are understaffed and we had to wait in the lobby until almost 5pm because they didn’t have our room ready even though I did the online check in 24 hours prior. We watched other families walk in and get their keys while we sat there and waited.
