La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cedar City

2 weeks traveling to visit with family in 7 different states. We started and ended the trip here. Of all the hotels on our trip, this place has the slowest wifi ever. Big problem for me as i work remotely. So plan on using a hot spot if you also work and travel. My first night here, the cable box and tv were unplugged so i had to pull the dresser out from the waĺl to plug back in. Not the end of the world, but an inconvenience for sure. This location did have the best breakfast selection however. All the employees were friendly, clean location, easy access to the freeway and lots of restaurants near by to choose from. Only other concern i experienced was both rooms we had, the doors were very hard to open and close. Maybe the doors are too heavy and hanging wierd. But you definitely need to physically push/pull hard to open the door. Which can be challenging with coffees in hand.

Just a quick stop on road trip across US with family

Adequate place to stay the night to break up a long road trip. Our shampoo/ conditioner dispensers were empty. Weren't provided enough towels for a family of 5. Comfy beds.

Very disappointed!!! I realize it is difficult to find staff who want to work. They just want to stand by their carts with their faces buried in their phones or stand around in a group and talk derogatorily about other co-workers. That is no excuse for the lack of cleanliness I encountered in my room. The night stands and lamps were covered with dust, the floor in the bathroom was filthy and the shower was gross!!! My light colored socks were even black from walking around my room for the evening. I was also surprised at the lack of quiet. There was hall noise, outside noise and above level noise. Crying babies, slamming doors and noisy traffic outside was what I heard most of the night. No built-in sound barriers at all. I was there to celebrate my son’s graduation from college. The hotel was totally booked and there was no chance of a different room. I will NEVER stay at the establishment again and will not recommend it to others.

Great family hotel while on the road

Overall, it was a reasonably clean hotel, but they seem to hit the rooms pretty heavily with some sort of fragrance. It sort of mixes with the rest of the hotel smells and it was a bit overwhelming. Also, it was noisy. There were dogs barking in rooms and in the halls and kids crying. If the hotel had not been as busy as it was, it would probably have been a better experience.

Great place to stay. Awesome breakfast. Clean. Pool and hot tub were fun for the kids.

We booked a last minute, late night stay due to weather. It was easy check in, the beds were so soft and comfortable we slept well. But our favorite was the breakfast. So many options and they were so good. The kids, of course loved the pool as well. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Room was super clean, nice, and plenty of room for family of 4. Hotel is up to date and breakfast was great!

The staff was very friendly. Liked having breakfast included in stay. Especially traveling with kids. The breakfast was yummy too. Will stay there again.
