Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cedar City, an IHG Hotel

The hotel did nothing about the dogs barking or the children running around at all hours of the night. I get that families are on vacation but so was I. I stay at hotels to sleep and could not. No apologies…very frustrating!!!

The room we were first given had a very strong musty wet dog smell. It was obvious it must have been used with a family that had dogs. I usually ask for a pet free room, but sadly they cannot guarantee this anymore it seems. Staff was apologetic and moved us to the top floor, where it's suppose to be pet free. However, there was still a very musty and strong odor. Had it not been late at night we would have left and found a different hotel. This is the 2nd experience we have had in Cedar City with a hotel not cleaning properly after allowing animals in the room.

The pool was fun for the kids

If you are wondering if you should stay here, no doubts. Will be staying here again. Very pet friendly but very clean. Safe area to stay in and park in. Grass areas for dogs. Poop bags even provided. Only thing was a few kids running up and down and up and down the halls way after the 10pm quiet time, and that only bothered me because the dog would bark once every time he heard them. Great continental breakfast. Lots of choices and some items were different each day. Would maybe like a few more non carb options for the diabetics. Biscuits and gravy were pretty good. Kids loved the pool. A little tight in there but they still enjoyed it. Felt safe letting them go by themselves to it (they are early teens).

we were there for a funeral and had family members who booked separately, so I called and asked that our rooms be located close together. The woman I spoke with made it happen, and we were so appreciative. Breakfast is phenomenal! By far the best breakfast we've ever had.
