Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites - Houston Space Center, an IHG Hotel

The hallways REEKED of marijauna smoke. It even smelled like smoke in our room. Not kosher, especially qwhen traveling with kids as we were. The carpets in the hallways were practically brown with dirt and need desperately to be cleaned. Combined it gave us a uneasy feeling overall.

It was nice and kid friendly. Only thing bad was some of there milk was bad. My kids got the milk carton and they were not expired yet but they were bad, other than that everything was great.

Despite the overview saying they have infant beds available; they do not. This resulted in us having to go buy an emergency playplen for our little one to sleep in. They don't clean unless you ask the front desk - which is OK. But then when we would ask, they still didn't come and clean. And when we mentioned this to the staff/front desk, their response was "Sorry, they dont speak english very well." That doesn't make sense to me because I shouldn't have to ask the hospitality staff to do anythging, that's the job of the front desk. We booked a "2-room suite" -- it isn't really "2 rooms", it's just a bigger suite. We were hoping it was a real 2 room so we could put our baby down in there to sleep (like she is used to) -- that is not the case. The "2-room" is just a bigger room.

Overall good for family with kids to stay.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites - Houston Space Center with our family and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured an additional living space. There were no unpleasant odors, and both the bedsheets and carpet were well-maintained. The breakfast offered a variety of options, enhancing our overall satisfaction. We highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Close to dining & shopping. Easy on and off of freeway 26 miles from the beach. Room was excellent. Grandkids were in a program & we were able to check in early. Staff was awesome, breakfast delicious. Stayed here before & will again.

Had a great time at the pool w my family there. They have grills too. Check in lady’s were super kind

Very nice hotel great location close to everything I would definitely stay again only problem I had was they ha a large group of teens (25 rooms) total and they decided to get wild at 11:15pm and I was rudely woke up by them running and screaming and laughing down the hallway the only other problem was we was in room 422 and it’s right up against the elevator and the elevator makes a loud popping sound when it’s going up and down and that was annoying and keep us awake I had to be up for surgery by 4 am and you could hear the kids in the pool all the way on the 4th floor
