Comfort Suites near NASA - Clear Lake

Disappointed that the hot tub was non functioning. Since it was one of the reasons I booked it. I wish these hotels would provide a current state of thier facilities before booking. No tub stop for kids to take a bath, and water pressure was awful.

Very enjoyable and my kids had fun!

**DO NOT STAY HERE**** Warning **** They will charge an incidental amount before checking in and tell you a reason they are keeping it. Hotel management is horrible and corporate does not care. Room is nasty, holes in sheets, fleas in pool area. Nothing works in weight room. My kids found a box of cigarettes and other used items from past guests. *****WARNING***** spend your money somewhere else because they will charge you a lot more when you check out. Read other similarly reviews . Check the BBB

I loved it Very family friendly

Staff was friendly & nice. "Fitness Center" had a broken treadmill, broken beyond repair elliptical, and broken weight machine with cables snapped & tied up. All unusable & dangerous. Hotel was clean. Handicap accessible lift for pool broken & wrapped in caution tape. Breakfast area was non monitored by staff and there was a family scooping cereal out of the decanters with their hands. Unsafe food service & so gross-should be monitored by hotel staff. Decent area to walk/run and a nice park across the street. Great coffee, restaurants, stores, ice cream within walking distance.

Woke up out of my sleep because something kept biting my arms. Come to find out it is ants walking around on the bed, where my kids are laying and myself. I killed at least 10 throughout the night. I informed the staff as I was checking out and they refused to apologize or offer partial refund because I didn’t call them at 4 am to notify. I have videos and pictures to proof and assumed that would be proof enough. If you stay here don’t expect staff or “manager” to offer any help. I will not be coming back to this hotel.

Amazing place to stay close to everything and employees are so nice and very welcoming. Definitely will be staying here next year for our family vacation.

We only booked because of the indoor pool. I was wondering why so many kids in the hall and nobody swimming The pool is full of mold, hot tub is green, water murky. Very moldy inhumane smell of the whole pool room and the door is busted. I honestly feeling like we’re going to be sick just stepping foot in it

Zinna and Latetia were the best. They made us feel like family after a really bad day. They were the bright spot of our day. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The air conditioning in the room kept all members of my family and I awake throughout the night. only 1/4 of the conditioner was blowing cool air which was not sufficient to keep the room cool, it was pretty much a little better than a fan but could not sleep with blankets covering because it got too hot. We had 5 people so pull out couch bed was used. Reported the issue to staff and was told "sorry." They did report some leak or issue with their main lobby A/C upon arrival but not alerted to the room issue. Informed prior to arrival that it would be 5 sleepers but pull out bed did not come with blankets and sheet nor a 5th towel/ wash cloth. Asked service people for the extra and was told they couldn't so had to go to front desk which was a little inconvenient but not a deal breaker. Went to "fitness center" and equipment was unsafe and not well kept. Elliptical fell off track while using and weight rack was being supported by a long rigged bolt not the pins used for gym equipment.
