Hilton Garden Inn Texarkana

Please have staff at the front desk ready to check people in at 3:00 check in time. The guy there was too busy counting money and saying hi to a kid so I had to wait in line with my luggage. Then I was asked to sign a piece of paper about the smoking policy. The paper didn’t say anything about a smoking policy. I was told it’s because the printer/computer that prints it out right was the one by the guy that wasn’t checking people in.

Had our family reunion at this hotel and everything was perfect, the staff was great and food was great.

This was probably one of the best Hotels of our vacation. The place was nice, peaceful and well decorated. My wife took pictures of the décor to share with family and friends. The staff was friendly and took time to interact, answer questions and were very accommodating. The room was beautiful and the Jacuzzi was a relief for my wife and I after the day of driving. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. I didn't want to give them a lower grade for the location, but it was a few roads off the highway which necessitated the use of the GPS, but alternately provided for a quiet location with distance from the interstate noise. Every popular restaurant chain is within distance of the hotel, but we opted to eat dinner the evening we arrived and had a great breakfast which prepared us for our day of driving. We loved the stay.
