Holiday Inn Texarkana Arkansas Conv Ctr, an IHG Hotel

We are from Houston traveling to Memphis for a baseball tournament. Our entire team has been wiped out from Hurricane Beryl so we decided to leave a day early and stop halfway. We unfortunately picked this hotel. From the time we arrived last night (9pm) the staff has been nothing but rude to us. Our boys and us were in the lobby talking catching up. They are 13 so a little loud. The lady at the front desk was constantly telling us to hush. Later the kids went to the room and another kid not with us had been ringing door bells. She followed our kids up to the 2nd floor and marched around until they came out to get on to them. We let her know what the situation was and she said “we were just talking about that” This morning my kids got off the elevator before me and another women told them they couldn’t be down there without an adult. We were scolded at breakfast for not having our card case. I was scolded for asking about the Wi-Fi because it wasn’t working. It’s just miserable. I’ve never seen such a grouchy group of workers. Fortunately for us and them we are checking out today

I love the friendly staff! I did not like the fact that breakfast was not complimentary. Overall I would recommend this place to family.

Since check-in was at 3 we arrived around 3:30 to find only one employee behind desk. She was having an issue trying to get another family checked in and without warning, disappeared for 15 minutes. She apologized upon her return and stated she had to go find house keeping since they didn't have phone or Walkie-talkie radio to communicate with. For such a big hotel I found that shocking and disappointing. There were no issues with my reservation and only took 5 minutes to check-in. Room was very clean and comfortable. Was impressed with the new modern look of the room and overall hotel. Only problem with room was the terribly LOW water pressure while taking a shower. For such a nice hotel, this was a big disappointment. That alone will make me think twice before staying again in the future.

Family trip with an infant. Greyhound bus stop was in front of hotel (make sure you lock car). The hotel was fairly empty. Avoid the in house restaurant unless you are ok with waiting an hour for your meal. Meant to be more of a bar then restaurant. Indoor pool was great to get kids tired for bed. Staff was nice, quick check in and out. Would stay again if I was in the area.

This was just a stop on the way but the two beds and pull out couch worked great for our family of 5. The room and bedding were very clean. The beds were confortable. The only small thing that stood out to me was that the bathroom was lacking a fan. Didn't compromise our stay but could be a problem gor others. We will definetly stay here again.

Made overnight stop in Texarkana on the way to family Thanksgiving. Room clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff welcoming. Will stay again.
