Holiday Inn Express Arlington, an IHG Hotel

Our family was in town for the Alianza tournament and the stay here was very pleasant considering the exhaustion we were undergoing. The hotel was maybe 5 minutes away from the Harold Patterson fields, so that was a big plus. Breakfast was okay; nothing bad about it but nothing too special. We were near the mall and several restaurants. The parking was limited but it could have been due to being in the same parking area as other restaurants. Overall it was a good stay and we will definitely book here again.

Staff was very pleasant. Room was nice with plenty of extra towels/washcloths/blankets for extra sleeping arrangements. Breakfast was great every morning. Just after checking in and each day following, I received a text to make sure our room was up to par and asking if we needed anything additional or if we had any issues. Housekeeping was also fantastic. They came in and made the beds, replaced linens, even folded my kids clothes that they left laying on the bed! The hotel is also super convenient to any/all shopping and dining options. It was a wonderful stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel for future stays and to others.

The hotel was nice. The first night I was there I was approached by people asking me to buy them a room so they could shower. As a woman traveling alone I did not feel very safe. So I scrambled to get into the hotel at the back entrance closest to my room as instructed by the front desk and I couldn’t get the keys to work properly. I kept trying and it worked finally. I didn’t want to go back to the front and have the person ask me for a room again. Once I go in the back door I also had issues with getting into my room. Since it’s was around 11pm I waited until morning to get new keys. Fast forward to the next day. My sister asked ti take a nap in my room since she had been caring for my father who was under hospice care. She tried to get the key fixed since she couldn’t get to to work and the Manager on duty got into a argument with my sister.( Her husband had brought their dog for the nap and he wasn’t allowed) my sister walked away fro the counter to leave and take the dog back ti my parents home and she was assaulted by the Manager. The police came and my sister is pressing charges. Our family was under a huge amount of stress and this was the last thing we needed. I turned in my key and told the person at the front desk that I did not feel safe staying. I have paid for the night but I would appreciate if I could get a refund. No matter how dumb my sister was she did not deserve to be attacked. Unfortunately, my father passed away the next morning.

When we first arrived we were next to a room with some loud kids. We asked to be moved and the girl at the front desk immediately changed our room to a much quieter one. She was very accommodating any time we asked for anything. Everyone we encountered at the front desk was very nice. The breakfast was great. They had most everything you might want. The swimming pool was very clean. Overall it was great!

My husband and I stayed with our 8 grandchildren and requested joining rooms. The request was met and we had a good stay! There was a great variety of both hot and cold breakfast options, which made it great for the varying preferences of our group. The only thing that was very disappointing was the pool. The day we arrived, the pool was so murky that you could not see your feet when you were in it. It is small, but that is okay. Not sure if there was too much chlorine or not enough, but did not enjoy swimming in it. Staff was very friendly and they were working on the pool while were there, so maybe just a fluke with the crazy weather we have been having. I do recommend this hotel and we will return again!

My family and i have stayed here a few time but thia time was the worst and we will not stay here again. The rooms had an ordor that you could smell throughout our stay. They ran out of towels. The beds in our room was worn out and uncomfortable. We had a guest the burnt popcorn in the room, that caused smoke on the whole floor. The fire alarms did not go off to warn anyone. Luckily the ladies at the front desk were on top of thier job and ensure guest were safe.The best this was the ladiies that they have working at the front desk. Much love to you ladies.
