Hampton Inn & Suites Mansfield

I was very disappointed with our stay in Mansfield, Texas. We had traveled all day from Oklahoma to visit with the grandkids. We arrived at the hotel at almost midnight, we were tired and exhausted from traveling. I made sure to ask the receptionist about checkout time, she informed me that it was at 12:00. We got to our room and the air conditioning smelled fishy. We were so tired we thought we would acclimate to the smell. At 8:30am we were awaken with a rapping at the door that it was housekeeping wanting to clean the room. We told her ok and went back to bed and slept until 10:30 and we were still able to be out of the hotel and on our way by 11:30am. Maybe it was our fault for not putting the “do not disturb” sign”but with families vacationing and long days on the road, please!!!

Needed a room to hold our family of 5, they had a large suite. Breakfast was hot and tasty. I wish they had brown sugar for the oatmeal but it was still good. The hotel was clean and even had hand sanitizer outside the elevator. Very nice. I would have liked to know about the $50/day deposit before our arrival. I hope it doesn't take the full 30 days to refund it.

We were in town for one night with our 3 kids under 10 for a series of hockey games. Had a queen suite on the first floor. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this was one of the poorer stays we’ve had at a hotel. First off, our room never fully cooled and the entire building was extremely humid and smelled of mildew. We arrived to check in at 2:45 and were told our room wouldn’t be ready for at least 30 minutes. The upholstery on the pull out couch in our room looked and felt grimy and dirty. A host of raisins fell out of the pullout when we opened it. Barely any water pressure in the shower. When someone went number 2 in the morning, the toilet would not flush. We couldn’t get the tank to fill with water. At breakfast, the cooler that milk and yogurt was kept in did not reach a food safe temperature and one of the small milks we opened had curdled despite not yet being out of date. The gravy for biscuits and gravy was also kept warm in a crock pot which I thought was a bit unprofessional.

The air didn’t work only cooled to 72 A toddler ran upstairs for 3 hours from 12 am to 3 am and I asked front office to address and never did

This was a disappointing stay. We were double charged and then told we had to wait up to 7 days after checkout before we would get our money back. This was a 4 night stay. Multiple times a day we would smell Marijuana which is unexceptable as we were traveling with our children. The beds are horrible and would wake up stiff and sore. The elevator seemed as if it was on the verge of collapse. I do not recommend this location.

This is an excellent hotel, with very clean environment and rooms. I love it and will stay there again with my family. I will recommend it to everyone also.

The staff was incredible, they treat my family wonderfully and always have smiles on their faces. A big thank you to everyone! :)

Overall the hotel was nice. We did see some sort of, I hope a food product, dark brown material on one window curtain as well as a childs toy left in the room.

Check in was fast and easy. Very friendly guy at front desk. When booking i had requested a quiet room, away from the elevators, and on a high floor. They did a great job with our requests and the room was perfect! The room was comfortable, clean, and really big! Breakfast was yummy, with lots of hearty choices. No complaints whatsoever except that it was too cold outside for the kids to swim...maybe they can work on that for our next stay. ;)
