Check in was supposed to be 4:00 but didn’t happen until 4:30. There must of been at least 25 families sitting around in the lobby area waiting for their rooms to become available

Hotel was a little outdated, beds were uncomfortable. Hotel staff were pleasant and professional. They do charge $10/day for parking. We were there 3 days to watch rangers. Trolley was never on time so we ended up walking all 3 days to stadium. Enjoyed the 15 minute walk to Globe Life with another family and kids. Not much for Starbucks breakfast.

It was a HOT! July weekend and we were expecting to catch a Rangers game and then cool off in the pool at the Hotel. We booked this hotel primarily for 3 reasons; 1) location, 2) the advertised shuttle to the game, 3) the pool. My wife, 3 children and I were seriously disappointed on 2 of the 3 counts. It turned out that they don't actually have a shuttle, it's really the trolly, which can take up to 30-45 minutes for you to actually reach the stadium (which can actually be seen from the hotel). So, we decided to walk instead (it was 95 degrees out) and arrived in 20 minutes. Secondly, the pool advertised online was out of commission. This little bit of information was not mentioned online or during booking. Had we known we would have picked alternate lodging options. But, then again, I guess that is exactly why they don't mention that small detail. They are more interested in your money than accommodations! Finally, upon check in we were told that our breakfast would be covered. Well, we are a family of 5 and they only covered 4 and billed us for the 5th. I don't normally complain about service as I too run a customer service based business but, this was a little over the top in my opinion, for what it's worth..!

I'm from Houston TX. where the temperature is hot and humid. When we go on a family vacation, I'm expecting the temperature in our room to be cool as well... But no, the first night experience was humid to the max. You couldn't adjust the AC, obviously it was on a set temperature, by the time we got back from eating dinner after a long drive, it was 11pm. We were too tired to call service on the AC. We gave this hotel a second chance because this was the exact thing that happened last year, even though they clearly fix the problem once you mention it to the front desk. The moral of the story is, let your customers adjust the room temperature. Two years in a row... We will not be staying here next year.
