stayAPT Suites San Antonio-Randolph

The was great for a week long stay to visit family. This would be a great place to stay for someone moving to the city and needing a temporary place until finding a home or apartment. Also great for a family as there is a full kitchen where meals can be prepared saving money by not eating out. Nice laundry room and exercise room. Easy access to highways and plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. Only downside was no pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean, comfortable, and staff was very helpful. It was like having our own little apartment. Full size kitchen with pots and pans, I would suggest the add baking pans. At least a cookie sheet. Bed was very comfortable. Big flat screen tv’s. Love they had a gym and laundry on premises. We had our Son, daughter-in-law, and 2 grand-babies cone over and hang out with us. Made dinner most nights. The courtyard is wonderful. Nice patio furniture, gas fireplace, and BBQ. I felt very safe . You have to have a keycard to get into the rooms area. Fully enclosed by door with keycard access only. Great AC. We even were able to extend our stay. I will be keeping my eye out while traveling for more StayAPT!

Wow! What a wonderful stay, place, and location. The staff was fantastic and our room was spectacular. You could have not asked for better service. The room set up is perfect especially for a family or someone who wants to have a little extra space. Laminate floors were great (carpeting can be so gross). We plan on returning and staying at similar locations if there is one where we are traveling to.

We’re a family of 4 and in the middle of moving out of state. The room was very roomy, clean and convenient; having the kitchen separate from the bedroom made working with toddlers less stressful. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, utensils and pots. So i was able to grab some things from the store and cook a few times, instead of eating out every day. The laundry room was also convenient for us since we stayed for a week and wanted to wash clothes before we hit the road. All in all, we felt comfortable staying at this hotel and will definitely stay again at another location.

The neighbors smoke alarm kept going off during the night and it was difficult to stay asleep. On the other hand, the amenities and overall space was clean and new. My family loved staying there because it was close to everything we needed to go in the area.

I would give this property 9.5/10. I was unsure at first because how it was priced, but I was amazed how great it was. The only issue I had was the construction on the highway around the property. It made it a little difficult to get to, but if you pass it and then turn right and drive around the stores you will get back to it easily. The manager Jose was helpful and kind! He always had a smile. MJ checked us out and was kind also! The other staff always asked if we needed anything. Overall the customer service was 10/10, the only reason I gave it a 9.5 was because of the road construction and the overnight construction, but that’s not their fault. It was located about 20-30 from Sea World and The River Walk. For the 3 nights we stayed it felt like a small apartment and was perfect for my family of 2 adults and 3 children.

The property was very close to my family that I was visiting in San Antonio.

Pros: The stayAPT suites is a new hotel and the rooms were very clean. It is in a very convenient location, easy to get in and out of even in busy traffic! The price for our stay was a great value. Cons: They gave us the wrong room - we reserved a king suite, but got 2 queens. Our room didn't have any soap in the bathroom, nor was there dish soap in the kitchen. During our particular stay, we were surrounded by loud guests - kids running on the floor above us, adults yelling in the room next door.

The hotel is made like apartments which is very convenient for traveling families or long stays. It comes with a full kitchen and separate sitting area which includes a pull out sofa bed. Has a beautiful courtyard area in the middle with a grill and fire pit. I highly recommend 😊.

When we arrived the property manager was on-site checking the property so we had to wait a bit before checking in. However she did text us to see what time we will be arriving due to the office not being 24/7 like other hotels. I booked through hotel.com which I paid on the app, however I was charged again at the property and I informed her of the mistake and she refunded me and I’m still waiting for it to reflect in my account. Paying at the hotel honestly seem cheaper than the hotel.com app but it was paid already so no big deal. The parking is very clean and nice. The elevator was clean and nice. I must say I didn’t realize that this was an apartment like hotel because they had have families who live there and pay a weekly rate. The first night the room and everything was clean and nice it’s very spacious and the kitchen is stocked with a full size fridge, stove, and microwave . The kitchen also had plates, glasses, bowls, and other things. I’m not sure if someone before us left their sugar and rice or if that was provided by the hotel but it was already open and used. The bathroom was a nice size but there was no hand soap on the counter, I had to reach over in the shower to use their complimentary bath soap to wash my hands. Bath soap and shampoo was provide in the shower. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The next morning the lights didn’t work. I checked out and left property on time and they charged me an extra night saying the room was locked.
