Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio Medical-Six Flags, an IHG Hotel

This is our family's go-to hotel when we stay in San Antonio. It is always clean, family friendly and can't beat a free buffet included in the stay. Will definitely continue doing business wirh them.

Too many people in the pool leading to a baby pooping in the pool! Several people not wearing swimsuits and babies without swim diapers! Grossed me out!

We came as a family of 5 for a concert my oldest & I were attending. My husband & kids came along for the pool and explore SA. The hotel was nice! Friendly staff, the pool was great, the breakfast was amazing & the location is great too! They have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, & hand soap, so don’t worry about bringing that stuff! We enjoyed it so much we actually booked another night to support before we head out. Definitely one we will be coming back to next time we are in town! Btw there is a Bill Millers right next door! Get their tea, trust me!

Our family was staying at this hotel for a family trip. First of all, the rooms with the two kings and a pullout sofa do not exist. When entering the room it seemed clean. Upon further inspection it was found to not be. The pool was without towels which is ok, it happens. There was a hole in the ceiling of the room where there had been obvious water damage. To top off the whole situation when our family in the other Room pulled out the sofa bed, BEDBUGS were discovered.

Excellent hotel great staff delicious breakfast options and kid friendly

Got in 12am n checked in. It supposed to be 2 queens bed n 1 sofa sleeper. It had 2 sofa sleeper n 1 queen. Had no sheets or blanket or pillows for either of them. Had to go down to get them. Opened one of them up, mattress was filthy, flipped over n urine stained. The blanket he gave us, opened and there was a bed bug on it n went to show the clerk the bug n gave us another blanket. Then other bed the blanket had a 5” hole in it n blue stains on it also. There was a chase chair n u wouldn’t want to sit on it, stained. My 3 grandchildren slept on the cleaner one, sofa bed. We should have slept in our RV but it was late n needed to get up n showered for Six flags n have breakfast the five of us. We booked for two days n refused to stay second night n get a refund, should have asked for full refund. I took pictures of what we had to deal with

The whole stay we were there we had no hot water. Our room was given away to someone else and we had to inconvenience the family by opening there door unannounced.

My 92 year old Granny and I flew to San Antonio to visit my brother and his wife and to meet their first baby. This was our Granny’s 18th great-grandchild. Finding a hotel that would be safe and handicap friendly was important. This was the perfect hotel. Granny has trouble walking and uses a walker. This place was set up perfectly.

No hot water, one broken elevator until the day we left, short staffed, didn’t clean rooms when we were gone, and management was not helpful with any of the problems. Wouldn’t recommend, especially if traveling with kids. Several other guests had the same complaints.
