Tru By Hilton San Antonio At The Rim, Tx

It was a great place for me and my family.

My stay was good till breakfast time. A customer was making her little ones breakfast as they cannot reach the waffle maker due to safety issues and one of the receptionists came and told her to hurry up that other people needed to eat..I find that to be very rude,unprofessional and disrespectful. Would understand if it would be another guest but it was staff!!!! Will be staying next door instead next time!

Awesome family hotel

I booked a second room with 2 beds...i didn't get that...They refused to change it...They do not clean their rooms daily and expect you to reuse your towels...There were a group of kids running around and making noise...Knocking on doors...Their response was they knew about it and its a swim team that is staying there...They did apologize for it but did nothing to stop it

Overall everything was good until my family and I decided to shower before going to bed. We were tired and it was late. The container for the body wash was empty YES totally empty and we were so tired we used shampoo as body wash, the next morning we checked out and I mentioned it to the front desk and just an “ok we will let them know” not even an apology. Not the first time we stay there and it’s nice but this rubbed us the wrong way. We’ve stayed at other Tru hotels and never had that happen. Hope they change their way handling customer service complaints.

A quick decision to visit San Antonio for the night. The hotel came highly recommended by family who’d been staying at Tru hotels. Experience has been great.

My child and I stayed in this hotel from November 21-23 to celebrate my childs birthday. There is/was an issue with our room which I told staff on 3 separate occasions and nothing was done and no compensation was offered or given. The wiring is crossed so half of our lights and the air/heat did not work unless the door way light is on( staff confirmed this). This is a problem when I am trying to get my severely disabled child to sleep..Manager was never available i was given his card and told to email. It took 5 days for a response which was " room is fine thabks for staying" both the situation and response from the Manager was very disappointing

Our stay was very pleasant, room was clean , hotel was clean, kids enjoyed playing downstairs where there was a pool table and a very nice area to eat and hang out .. rooms were a little small and you could hear the noise next to our room .. but really enjoyed our stay .. area was close to shop centers and restaurants and kid place for fun .. will definitely stay again..

The night reception Mrs Hernandez was not helpful. There was an error with my travel agency and basically told me she was sorry and could not do anything for me. My family was asleep in the car after a long day at Six Flags Fiesta. I had to call the travel agency to fix the issue, so they can issue a new confirmation code. Not very accommodating! The beds are a little stiff. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything next door. The cleaning staff knocked twice for housekeeping, when we requested a late checkout. No one notified the cleaning staff. The pool water was still green after they finished cleaning. For the same price you can stay at the Drury Inn which has much better accommodations. It was a total let down.
