Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Richardson at Spring Valley

I had planned on staying only one day as I had both business and family to see while in town however, it was such a quiet, peaceful location I extended my stay for 2 extra days just to get caught up on work. It was perfect. Ill be sure to stay there again the next time I am in town.

Love the Starbucks in the lobby. Clean and convenient to my family in Richardson.

Not family friendly- no cribs (despite being advertised). No alternative solutions offered, just a sharp refusal and a shrug when I asked about it. Spent our entire stay half awake trying to keep my 11 month old from rolling onto the concrete floor in the middle of the night. The woman who checked me in was very unfriendly AND charged me twice for my stay. I had to go to the front desk and swipe my card several times. The second staff member who helped me was very friendly but spent a lot of our interaction bad mouthing the other staff rather than finding a good solution. The hotel is undergoing construction and was loud, and the rooms I had zero decor, or anything too dampen the noise, so, even having the TV on a speaking volume made it echo in the room. when people came by in the hallway, or in the exterior door, it was incredibly loud. Just overall a not great experience, and I’m not very picky with hotels. Some consistent customer service would have gone a long way, but since it was so spotty the minor issues were amplified.

The kids enjoyed the pool

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay. Staff was super friendly and hotel was great. Nice pool. Nice room, could use a few more usb ports. Had a great stay would definitely stay there again.
