When I arrived my room did not have any toliet paper or paper towels. The ceiling had mold stains. The toliet paper holder was missing. The faucet in the bathroom was also broken. Both pull out couches had cereal candy and gum wrappers with fresh stains. The room was extremely loud with kids running around above us after midnight. We called to complain. The noise did continue.

Be prepare to climb stairs. Even called ahead and they said I could have a lower level for my elderly mother. No rooms left for us on the lowers level. Lots of kids on spring break. So noisy.

Not our first time at Port A but this was our first time at Captain Headquarters and to be honest I think this will be our new place of staying. The suite was perfect for our family of 6. The kids enjoyed the waffles and cereal for breakfast. The only complaint I would have is their coffee, I was not a fan but that’s no big deal I just went to the stripes for my coffee.

the lady at the front desk was very helpfull her name was Monica she was on top on everything even after a group of Kids went in for breakfast and you know kids.

Was not able to check in until after 7 pm after driving with my 2 young children and confirming check in was at 4. Received no notice. I had to urge them to clean my room so we could check in otherwise I would have had to wait even longer. Pool was filthy and green and unusable. Would not recommend whatsoever.

It was dirty behind door in bathroom some gooey stuff on floor. Cockroaches running Even trash cans were nasty. Loud kids up until 2 AM Never again

Pros: Decent option close to the beach. Few blocks away, not walkable though. Suite layout allowed for the family to have space; small kitchenette with fridge/microwave/stovetops and dishes and pans. Free breakfast and coffee. Super friendly staff and plenty of parking. Cons: Room wasn’t clean “around the edges” Ants, hair, tobacco products and food residue on various surfaces. Towels had hair in between them and the shower was very molded. The floor was also very dirty which left our socks filthy. Cellular/Wifi service was also very weak in the second building so we had to sit in the lobby to take a few urgent work calls but the staff was super accommodating and understanding. Overall- would stay again but would have lowered expectations.

They fired an employee who cancelled multiple people's reservations. The couple in front of us had theirs canceled without notice, or was canceled without notice and another couple had theirs canceled without notice. No cancelation confirmation sent to us, or orbitz. The lady at the front counter was yelling at me when i asked them questions and asked for the owner to contact us. She was extremely unprofessional, she lied to her boss on the phone, she lied to the orbitz rep etc... orbitz found us a better motel, closer to everything, pet friendly, family friendly and super professional, caring and polite staff! Go to America's Best Inn they are phenomenal!

I really like the customer service that was provided that late night when I got there. I think her name is Amy she was the overnight staff. She also noticed on Saturday night when I drove in the parking lot there was no parking. She found a space for my big truck. Thank You so much for the customer service you provided to me and my family!!
