Our first night wasn’t pleasant cause the next room had to many kids and dogs My wife need it to call the office that first night after that everything was fine

Definitely a chill place to bring the kids. We had a kitchen and was exactly what we needed. Front desk is super friendly and helpful. Pool was clean. We will be back.

I make frequent trips to the Texas coastal bend are (Kingsville to Rockport) to pick up little dogs to bring to Texas Chihuahua Rescue in San Antonio. Occasionally, particularly if I plan to visit several places in one day, I'll drive out the evening before and spend the night in Port Aransas so that I can avoid driving 7-8 hours all in one day. In this most recent situation, I received notification of a tiny dog needing to get to rescue late in the day on Saturday and made plans to pick her up early Sunday morning. I grabbed my phone, hit Expedia and made a reservation for Amelia's Landing as I was heading out. That was literally the best decision I've made in a long time. The desk clerk (manager) greeted me by name when I hit the door and had everything ready for me.....right down the fact that I had one of my own dogs with me and had forgotten to bring dog food for her breakfast (he graciously gifted me with food from his own stash). The room couldn't have been better. It was roomy (way bigger than needed for me and my 8-lb furbaby), beautifully renovated after the Harvey damage, and spotlessly clean. A complimentary continental breakfast of my choice magically and silently appeared (in a sealed container) outside my door at 7:00 AM. As the space for this review is limited, I will close by saying I will absolutely be staying at Amelia's Landing whenever I am anywhere near Port Aransas overnight.
