Alister Square Inn

This hotel is in the perfect area! Lots of options for food, gift shops, and local bars. Plus the beach is right down the street. Me and my family will definitely be staying here again!

The allister is usually a nice place to stay but the quality of this place has really gone down. Plus the kids during spring break made it a terrible experience for us. The resttroom had black mold growing in it. Black mold growing along the window seals as well by the indoor A/C unit. The bed was extremely hard. The pillows and blanket were awful as well. The younger woman at the front desk and the house keeper were really nice though. I don't think I'll be coming back.

It was a great family 2 night stay, I didn't understand why you couldn't take your breakfast back to your room, the breakfast selections were very good and coffee was great, They didn't change the sheets or clean the room but all in all we had a great time!! The place was nice and relaxing, Pool/ Hot tub was great also .

Had a great 3 night stay with my family here! Very nice room and the pool was awesome! Would definitely stay here again!

The room with the kitchen had roaches! They were crawling on walls and on the head board!! The toilet looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in a good while. On the side and behind the night stand there was dirt build up, along with ear plugs and a child's headband. Dirty!!! I refused to stay in that room! It would of been a great room had it been cleaned and roach free!! What I checked in the older gentleman was nice. When I brought up the room issue to the other employee he definitely knew about the problem and don't bother to see my videos or pictures.

The staff was very friendly. we honestly though it would be a bit noisy being every one on vacation and with kids coming back in but to our surprised it was very quiet. our room was clean. No issues here. We'll definitely stay here in the future.

Overall, our stay was good. But the fact that room service only comes around once, especially when towels are needed, felt like an inconvenience. The pets (dogs) barking also was not very pleasing. Would have preferred that guests with dogs have their own section on the backside of the hotel. They do tend to bark late at night and early in the morning keeping us awake or waking us up! Also, the parking situation needs to change drastically in hotels around PA!!! Those beach karts need there own sections because it's not fair that we need to park on the other side of the hotel once we get back from the beach or having dinner because they decide to park and take up every available space in front of their rooms. Im sure I'm not the only one who thinks this but clearly its an issue. Don't get me wrong, cause I too love riding the karts on the beach but just think it needs a little more thought into the parking situation. That being said, me and my family loved the beach, loved the restaurants and we loved our stay at The Allister Square Inn. Thank you.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk to various spots and the drive to the beach was 5 mins away! The room was great and accommodated my family of 4 perfectly.

This was just what our family of 4 needed. Easy parking, swimming pool, outside shower for the beach cleanup, and the room was extremely clean. There were enough towels for all of us and big and fluffy. Good stay.

Room was clean and nice. Has a cell phone hook up usb or plug in. Only complaint was family above sounded like they were going to come thru ceiling they were so loud. We banged on ceiling with ironing board and they stopped. I would stay again but probably request 2nd floor.
