Facility was not kept up. Wall paint bubbling and pealing, plaster on walls that were not painted, door locks not secure, outdoor stairs rotting. The service was substandard, workers were argumentative and not helpful. The price was extremely high for what you get. The condition of the property was that of a red roof inn but at a Hilton price. My family and I will never return to this place.

Walls and floors are very thin. We could hear kids running around above us at night and early in the morning. People stomping and bouncing a ball above us. Breakfast was ok, better then nothing. The only positive was the staff stayed late to let us check in, hotel normally closes at 11pm. We arrived by 11:30pm and they even called asking what our ETA was. There was limited parking too.

We have been coming to this hotel for the past 4 years and we have NEVER had a problem till this weekend. We had a total of 11 rooms. My family and I were there to celebrate my daughter birthday along with my 2 brother in laws. When we got to our rooms they smelled like a wet towel the floor was a bit dirty when we needed fresh towels we needed to take all of our dirty towels to the front to get clean towels which is very inconvenient considering they are dirty and wet. The pool was cloudy looked dirty and also pool is supposed to be heated and was not the staff said the heater was not working. The staff was so rude especially the manager. when going for breakfast it was not very satisfying as far as taste juice was not good and eggs were bland. We we’re told on Sunday at 10 o’clock that we needed to be quiet and go to our rooms we couldn’t be outside hanging out because they had gotten a lot of complaints the night before from people being super loud and that the cops were called which was NEVER addressed to anyone there nor did we ever see cops on the premises. She said we either b quiet or she will call the cops on us. She never gave us a warning she never said anything to anyone at anytime about us being loud. At check out the following day at 1030 there were workers waiting by the door for us to leave so that they can clean the rooms they kept asking if we we’re almost done when check out is @11 not 1030.

We loved the room. Pool and cleanliness. We disliked that we had neighbors that were smoking pot and it would come through the vents. We had two rooms. Also planned on BBQing. When we got there, there was bbq pits but on the second day when we got back from beach ready to cook on the grills, they were gone. The grills had been removed. So more then 60.00 dollars of chicken etc. Went to waist. Last breakfast was a 5 out of 10. No meat. No bacon or ham or gravy nothing. Just eggs and nasty potatoes. Embarrassed that i brought my family there. Three families.

This was not our first time there typically it’s a great stay unfortunately other guest were fighting, screaming slamming doors. They woke my children up as well as my 73 year-old mother from midnight until 3:47 in the morning. I called the staff 7 times until they finally came, when I threatened to call the police and then the employee knocked on my door and said my name and told the people she’s the one that called which made us feel completely vulnerable and unsafe & My child has autism & she was covering her ears. crying, rocking back-and-forth for 2 1/2 hours because The staff was not making these people leave. It was ridiculous I beg them for a refund so we could leave so we could feel safe the man told me i would get a refund because we felt unsafe there. I felt like the gentleman knocking on my door And saying my name put me in my children and my mother lives in jeopardy The people left and the next morning I was told by a manager Tina that we would be given a full refund to call Expedia and they would receive an email. They would go ahead and issue before refund because they were very sorry. We didn’t go to bed till almost 5 in the morning and when we got back home we did that and they called them and told them oh well we’re willing to give her 20% back (we didn’t even sleep 20%) We had to drive over three hours home after sleeping 3 hours they put our lives in jeopardy. We felt so unsafe and they lied to us i’m praying they make it right

Friendly, professional, and helpful staff. Safe place with an excellent location. Pool and hot tub in secluded courtyard. Nice bonus: Adirondack chairs outside of rooms. Nice picnic/BBQ area. Pet friendly. Far from the Ritz-Carlton, but adequate accommodations. Different mattresses in our room (1 notably better than the other). Good & working refrigerator, (didn't use the microwave or TV), good pressure and hot water. Ice machine wasn't far from our room. Single-sized coffee maker with expected low quality teabag coffee. Didn't try the breakfast, nor the pool/hot tub. Folks were swimming and soaking, so pool/tub were working. We were SO happy to have chosen a room with the couch 2 queen beds for our family of 4 and dog for the extra space. It's not a 5* hotel, but we had a 5* experience and would stay here again because of the value (cost location pet friendly).

I had hoped to use the hot tub while there, but as often happens, a family had settled into it indefinitely, so I settled for a hot bath.

Room was nice, overall clean, found lost toy from previous guest behind curtains, against wall. Soap/lotion dispensers on wall in bathroom, not toddler friendly, no lock or way to secure. Bathroom light and loud exhaust fan on same switch, which did not work well with my noise sensitive toddler. A 1st floor suite was reserved, which the 1st floor was labeled as wheelchair “accessible”. The “grill-side” rooms are wheelchair accessible only by entering lobby, exiting back door, traveling around pool and then to room. Otherwise, to access the room from the parking lot, it was 5 step ups. It was a very loud atmosphere. On the second night, there was a very loud belligerent conversation that occurred two rooms with a fight that ensued later that went on until the early hours of the morning, with police and management involvement. This was our 1st stay at Plantation Suites, but have stayed many times in Port A at multiple places and have never experienced this before To say the least, it was a very interesting stay.

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at your motel, but I paid extra for our ground floor room, and we were given a top floor room, which was inconvenient because I am disabled.
