Courtyard by Marriott Lubbock

The property requires significant updates. The online pictures were deceiving. The customer service was excellent, and the kids loved the pool. It wasn't terrible, but considering the price I paid, I expected better. Oh, and the hot tub is out of order.

Hotel and room was very clean, the pool was nice it is just shy of 4 feet deep which is perfect if you have children. Great location on the South loop. Only downside is that this hotel does serve breakfast but it is not included with the price of the room, you must purchase breakfast separately.

The indoor pool an abundance of chemicals that quickly made our son sick. The hot tub was drained. At 3am, we were woke up to kids above us wrestling hitting the floor and walls. Staff was unable to quiet them down so we packed up at 4am and slept in our car until 6am when the sun came up.

The hotel was a great location to my daily travel. Very clean and excellent service. My problem was with Expedia I had to leave because of a death in my family . I was told by the hotel that Expedia would have to refund my money back because I paid with them . The person from Expedia tried to say it had to from the hotel. After going back and forth on the phone with Expedia the hote district manager talk with Expedia and let them know that I only stay two nights. And that's what they will be bill. This made me very angry . That Expedia was trying to keep my money. From this experience I will Never Never book thru Expedia again this is not the way to treat customers at any time . This is not what I had hope to experience when peolpe itravel on the road and have to make a ten hour drive safely home. Sill waiting to see my credit card bill with the credit from Expedia . District manager was Tenisha and the employee was Stacy they were very nice. One bad experience I would never wish on anyone.
