The overnight desk receptionist was rude and uncaring about a safety concern we presented to him. Also, the staff (parents too obviously) allowed children to run around and play all over the hotel, going up/down the elevators, playing chase, screaming all during breakfast and reception hours. The staff working the breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful, they had excellent customer service…

Great stay besides , there were a bunch a boys and girls(10) throwing a ball in the pool and hit my kids with it. I asked the front counter help to address and they did not. That evening the same kids knocked on my door and ran off. These kids ran and wondered all over the hotel . Also they stayed in the pool with there parents outside of the pool all day not supervised. Staff did little to remedy my situation.

It was an amazing, beautiful place. With lots a plants, waterfall/pond with fish, a lot of sitting area, all inside, where you didnt have to stay in the room, you could sit out, eat, snack, and watch tv. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and very roomy. We enjoyed this place as a family. We would definitely make it out hotel to stay when we stop in Lubbock..

My stay at the embassy was excellent. We didn’t have any trouble checking in. And the staff was super helpful, and friendly. Me and my family enjoyed our stay. Recommend people to try it out !!

Embassy suites used to be so clean and top notch. The wallpaper in the room we stayed was peeling on the seams. Housekeeping never came and did anything to the room, even after repeated requests. Hidden fees added after I already paid in cash. Such a poor experience. I have lots of family come into town because of Texas Tech, and believe me I will tell them to stay elsewhere.

Bathroom door handle is broken and a light by the sink was out- pillows were oddly small- lots of kids running around on the floor above us

We came for a little getaway and as usual, the Embassy didn't disappoint. The children enjoyed swimming and the manager's special was perfect!

Check in was at 4 pm. We arrived at 4:15 and they told us our rooms were not ready. It was a family trip so we had 4 rooms. After 15 minutes, we were told they were inspecting them it would be a few minutes. At 4:50, I went to check what was taking so long and we were then told that the rooms would not be ready for another hour. I then asked to speak to a manager and they said there was not one on site. We were told that they were short handed and some teams did not check out on time. After a few minutes she said she could get us in some other rooms. I can say the breakfast was good.
