Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Houston Pasadena

We were in to visit family but most of the hotel guests were Houstonians who were without power due to Hurricane Beryl. Those I spoke with said the staff and accommodations had been excellent. That was our experience as well. It is refreshing to see friendly, professional service still exists.

Night one load stomping until 1:15 AM . You could people walking - running . Kept me awake my kids fell asleep about 11;30. I did not want to wake my kids so I just endured the noise. Night Two same thing started early and I called at 9:30 or so. The stomping continued till about 10:30 Pm . We were in town for a tournament and had to get up early both days. Worst two nights of non sleep in a long time.

Whenever we arrived they allowed us to check in early that’s positive, room smelled heavily of smoke. Like ashtray style. I reported it they said they would send someone to freshen the room.That is why customer service got a good ranking. Went to the families house, stayed a while and came back to the hotel in the evening.After a couple hours of sleeping woke up to a room that was a blistering 88 degrees but the TStat was set at 76.So I turned the heater off and switched to cool. I had set that at 74, I leave and get some coffee then go back and the room is 64. Hella cold for me. So the rest of the morning I stayed down in the lobby drinking coffee and going from heat to AC until we left a little after 6 AM. Tried to load pictures of the TStat readings in the room but app keeps shutting down.
