The hotel was easily accessible on the side of the Hwy, but the trade-off for that is road noise at night. The room was very clean and up to date. The lobby was filled with things like a pool table, board games for the kids to play with. They had lots of fun at the outdoor pool. Location was very close to the outlet malls. For the price the hotel was great!

Specifically looked for Tru with pool table and game options for our kids. Went out of our way to book this hotel and will now always look for a Tru! Gaming and seating area help gets the kids out of the room more! Loved it! I feel the breakfast options was meh, don’t loved the powdered eggs. It was a nice treat to have the indoor gun range right next door we had a blast of an activity there also! Nice to have Walmart nearby as well in case we forgot anything it was within walking distance.

Was displaced from NE Texas due to prolonged power outage. Came to celebrate Father's Day with my kids. Booked room late in the day and the person who checked us in was extremely polite and helpful. So thankful. Father's Day saved☺️

In town for a wedding and found TRU was centrally located. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was also helpful cleaning up a spill. Daily breakfast was typical for a budget hotel. They had a pancake maker that is fun for kids. Rooms use bars, hooks, and shelves to store you clothes and personal items. We have three in our party and we’re very comfortable in the two queen room.

Our grandchildren live in Allen so we will be using this hotel many times. We have stayed at Tru twice and are very pleased with the hotel. Everyone is friendly and the hotel is very clean and convenient.
