Overall, average stay. Pool was out of order, kids didnt like that. Had to go down stairs to ask for towels each day. Room stayed a little warm (elevator and hallways extremely warm. Service was good, breakfast was great.

Good location in the Allen Texas area. Breakfast includes hot items - usually eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Our room on the 2nd floor at the rear of the hotel was quiet. Lots of families and pets staying here this holiday week. Good value stay.

There is a charge for parking not made clear on website, did not realize until charge showed on my bill at check out. Hotel was in a convenient area to visit our grandkids easy in and out. We had a suite with 2 queens in 1 room and a sofa bed in the living area/kitchen combination, very nice. BUT, no suitcase racks in the bedrooms so had to put all on the floor and the sofa bed mattress too used, needs replacement. I did appreciate the fresh bedding for the sofa bed, but had to go to pick it up at front desk.

Everything was great in the beginning, but then the second night my child had an accident and we had stripped the bed and we asked three times for new bedding, and when we got back that night he had not been done and nobody was there to help in the front desk I does not have any bedding that was clean I got married this day and when I got back to the hotel, this is what I had to deal with There is a stains on the carpet and the place definitely needs update Nobody ever turn the lights on around the pool at night and there was never any clean towels

Upon arrival my room was not ready at approximately 4 pm. Then i learned the pool was closed which my grandkids were excited to swim then was disappointed. Once we entered the room i found trash all on the floors. It was just dirt either, actual trash. Later that night i discovered the tv in my room did not have a remote. It was after maintenaance hours and waa told someone would bring in the next morning around 9 and noone ever showed up. The breakfast wasnt very good and the towels are very rough. The hotel needs major updates and staff that care.

Pros: good parking, lobby extremely clean, they had breakfast. Cons: extreamly un clean rooms, old outdated paint, coming of walls, beds was comfy tho. Old outdated sinks. This place needs updating bad. Found blood on curtain, black stuff on pull away mattress. Breakfast was horrible. I couldnt even make myself eat it. Neither could my family. Walked outside, saw stuff floating on outside pool. I wont stay again and cant recommend anyone staying here.

Im satisfied with my stay and would stay again. Only complaint i have is the rediculous prices charged for item in the store at the property. I was going to get ice cream for my kids and they were charging 13 dols a piece for a small container of ice cream. That to me is rediculous and they are taking advantage of people for profit.

Homewood suites was great. The bad thing is Expedia said the room was for 7 but there was only room for 6. Homewood suites upgraded us to a bigger room which was amazing. Thank you Homewood. You were amazing. Expedia you need to update how many people can fit in the room. I should not have to tell my kid to sleep on the floor. Glad he did not have to.
