What a charming stay! My family of 4 stayed in the upstairs Texas suite, which is the top floor of a converted school house. Even on the hottest day, the room was always cool. The space was ample and adorable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is very walkable with a nature trailhead steps away from the front. There were many places to sit and relax outside in the courtyard and plenty of shade. We definitely recommend the Kendall for anyone looking for a unique hotel stay in a bit of Texas history

The property was beautiful and all the different rooms and cabins had their own unique thing going on. We had the Enchanted cabin. It was perfect for our family of 3. Overall, it was a great stay. My only complaint was they didn’t have our room ready when they said it would be, and wish we had a fridge in our cabin because we had leftovers from the restaurant. Otherwise we’d love to come back.
