We booked our stay super last minute due our previously booked hotel not having any rooms. Anyway, this place saved our trip. The service, amenities, the pool and rooms were all top notch. We had such a fun time as a family. We can’t wait to come back!

The second time stay was better than the first. The staff were very friendly and gave us a tour (first time they didn’t). The place is definitely more guided towards families so if you want a romantic giveaway I will say this isn’t the best unless you’re okay with kids. I do love the fact it is pet-friendly. I would book again.

We had a great stay in our two rooms with kids aged 17, 7 and 3 months. Outdoor space kept the older kids occupied during down time. Too cold for the pool, but they’d have loved it.

Our family’s new favorite place to stay in Austin. All entries are secured and the nostalgic feeling is what has us eager to return asap!

Bed was very firm, someone left an open jar of salsa in our room, hope we don’t get charged for it from the snack tray! Outdoor area was cool and serene, surprised how many kids were roaming around and playing and at the pool both days we were there! We did get two rooms and requested to be near each other, they were not, at least they were on the same floor! Great music at night!

Lovely stay - my teens were even raving about it! I loved how active the property was with families enjoying the landscape and outdoor areas.

Great location and next to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The actual property, disappointing. Gates were open, so anyone could come in and use the property, which we witnessed a large group come in with a cooler and headed straight to the pool and set up shop till late in the afternoon and then left out the gate. The pool and property was overrun by kids, with no one monitoring or cleaning up. Jumping and splashing in the pool and once one did it, the other 15 would follow with screaming and yelling. Towels, empty cups, garbage and more was strewn about and left all afternoon. No music, so the ambiance again was screaming kids all the way into the late evening. The bar is inside the building and served drinks in glass mason jars where every other adult was drinking in or by the pool and setting the glass on rocks or pool edge. Multiple drinks were kicked in by kids and parents didn’t care. We actually picked up empty’s and moved them away so that they did not get broken. The staff from checkin to bar service were uninterested in being there and one was downright rude at the bar. It wasn’t just to us, we observed the attitude to everyone. Looks very understaffed. Also keep in mind it’s a three story building and the decks outside the doors is wood. So when kids are running it’s SUPER loud and sounds like a heard of buffalo coming. Wouldn’t return.. way too many options for same price!

This is a terrific hotel with a lot of character, beautiful gardens (with eco swales etc.), charming touches (great rootbeer, smores for the firepit), clever decor. The service was fine and there is an onsite restaurant with a small menu. It's perfect if you want some pool time and place for kids to run. I wasn't wild about the location. It's right next to the highway which is convenient, but any restaurant on S. Lamar, going to SOCO, going to the residential central area, or the capital/downtown area, meant driving 20 to 30 minutes. It is conveniently next to an upscale mall (we have all that at home) and a bunch of more chain stores. And a great taco truck!

We had a last minute change for our wedding! The ice storm took out the electricity at the Commodore Perry. Since our family were staying at Lone Star Court, we talked to Jazz about using their facility. We had 6 hours before wedding time! Jazz was wonderful, professional and accommodating. Manager Douglass was very helpful welcoming our guests. We had a lovely last minute wedding thanks to their help!
