Holiday Inn Express Jourdanton - Pleasanton, an IHG Hotel

Very comfortable beds! That is about the most important thing to me! Brought two grandkids and had plenty room for pack and play and all the gear!

They were remodeling but it wasn’t a problem. The pool could of been cleaner. The day we left we went for breakfast with family and maids entered our room while we were gone. And we were in the pool on our last day and came back to our room about 5-8 min before our checkout to change quickly and our room key wouldn’t work. I had to find a maid to unlock our room.

This hotel should be closed- it’s so bad right now I’m probably going to call the city hall and tell them to send inspectors out. Besides the pool being covered in nasty slime- the entire place is being renovated and my children and I have to walk through literal piles of Sheetrock dust and tile grout/sand to get anywhere. There’s razor blades and plugged in power tools sitting in the floor in hallways. It looks like workers just left everything as is and don’t clean up at the end of each day. We had to move an ice machine and soda machine to walk down a hallway. It’s 6:00am and I’m almost certain we won’t be able to eat breakfast because there’s no tables in the dining room - it too is a construction zone. Nothing is roped off, no caution tape/ my kids can just walk up and pick up a tool left behind from the construction crew. See photos to see this is not an exaggeration. I want my money back. This is a huge liability, it doesn’t even feel like America when we are here. I feel like I’m in a third world country. I’m going to clean the saw dust and drywall debris off my things now.
