Quality Inn

“Hot breakfast” included soggy scrambled eggs that didn’t appear to be refreshed ever (half my family ate lukewarm eggs about 20 minutes after breakfast started, the others found completely cold eggs about an hour into breakfast) and overcooked sausage patties. They also had a toaster so you could toast bread or bagels. And a microwave if you were inclined to microwave water in a styrofoam bowl in order to make instant oatmeal. Not sure about normal price, but we booked at the last minute, so we paid almost $200 for our one room. For that amount, I expected a much nicer hot breakfast and we were all very disappointed.

Overall Ok but experience compared to what it is offering. We stayed only one day at the end or our 14 days road trip. It looks like a small motel, renovated and quality inn tag. It is more like a model 6 or super 8, or days in, and should cost around 80 usd or so compared to 128 we paid in middle of the week. Will never stay here unless price is less than 80. Milk was gone bad and it created health hazard for our baby but we tasted it first and found out. Also heated it to boiling point to double check. Egg was there for many days. Poor breakfast. Staff was good and kind. Smooth check in check out. No complaints. Beds comfortable. Rooms good, renovated. Kindly please not be so greedy and reduce the rate close to 30% to be on line with what hotel has to offer. And ensure breakfast is proper, especially milk and eggs. We travel a lot from past 20 plus years and 17 different countries. so easily able to compare value we are getting.

For every positive, there was a blaring negative. The beds were comfortable enough- once we had replacement sheets upon finding body hair and fingernail clippings. The bathroom looked pretty good- but the towels were sandpaper rough and the toilet didn't flush properly. On top of that, In our family's hast to leave the following day, we forgot an electronic device in the room. Hundreds of miles down the road, we realized and called the hotel. They had it and we could pick it up. Great. When I asked when they found it, it was shortly after we left that morning. When I inquired why they didn't call they said it was against company policy. Upon a Google search that was not the case. Their policy is to call or email, and hold for 90 days. After 90 days, the staff member who found it gets to keep it. The same staff member who found it is also the same person who told me it was against policy to contact me.

Had three rooms for my family. Two were good, one was not. Multiple clipped toe nails were on the floor between the two beds. My daugher in law had to borrow a hotel vac and clean them up. She also had to get sheets changed on one of the beds. Lady at the counter was nice.
