Super 8 by Wyndham Pigeon Forge Dollywood Lane

Brought my family here for a little get away. The family enjoyed that this place is pet friendly. Room was really clean, for a pet friendly place it dint smell like pets stay there at night we slept great couldn't hear any pets. Breakfast is good and the front desk people are really friendly. Will stay here again.

Our stay was good. Our rooms were suppose to be connected but they were not. Still side by side but made it a little hard to keep an eye on the kids. Very horrible bugs everywhere outside not sure what they were but they were very bad but not the hotels fault. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Ac would cut off at night and not want to cool anymore but everything was good. Will recommend and stay again in the future.

Check in was easy and was a great hotel for our family trip with our 3 kids and 2 dogs. Staff is friendly. Within walking distance to a lot of dining and attractions. Nice outdoor and patio area. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Check in was easy that was the only positive. Our room smelled horrible like a mixture of a dirty wet dog and hot dog piss. The beds were uncomfortable smelled of body odor. The clean towels even had an odor. There were huge dried green boogers smeared down the bathroom walls. The air conditioner was more like a fan, it didn’t blow cold. There was pee on the curtains and the carpet was FILTHY! Staff was notified of some of the issues but the look I got when I reported them let me know they wasn’t appreciated. I was offered another room but it wasn’t a “deluxe” room , meaning it didn’t have a sofa bed. We asked to see it before we agreed to take it (also a burden). Upon opening the door we quickly realized that, that room was just as bad if not worse than our original room so we just stayed in the bigger room. Outside there were several needles lying to the side of the building and the pool was constantly cloudy. Overall just not an ideal place for a clean family, not ideal if you burn up, hormonal, sweat a lot, etc…I’ve been going to pigeon forge for over 20 yrs this was by FAR our WORST trip EVER!

I have not had my family stay at a motel because in many towns/cities they are so affordable that they become loitering centers -- at least per most reviews. However the reviews for this Super 8 we highly regarded and the price was incredible so we took a chance. SO GLAD WE DID! This place offered the comfort we have had at much pricier locations especially for a suite for a family of 6. The room was clean and in good shape. The breakfast was as good as any complimentary breakfast we've had elsewhere. (They keep the coffee going all day, which I enjoy!) The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had our need met for our stay and this location is excellent for proximity to Dollywood. The only thing I could suggest is some maintenance for the elevator. It was noisy to the point it seemed like it would run a little faster if it had some work done. (I'm not an expert, just seemed likely.) But that was the only criticism I could give, and we have already talked about staying there again. So in a nutshell, we would recommend this place!

Needs more kids movie channels.

Stayed for one night with family. The only negative thing I can say is the parking sucks. Couldn’t park a pickup truck and trailer in the lot and got a run around as to where we could park it The beds were comfy. Nice peaceful sleep

Overall our room was fine, but our family had issue with a water leak and a cockroach. We all checked out a day early.

Although it was clean it didnt look like the pictures. We was put in a handicap room, we didnt really care about that. The walls was very thin and a child next door and we could hear everything and she thought it was fun to bang on the access door just to make our dog bark. Any way it was clean but something i wish we would have thought out more and went with a cabin or something. We didnt get much sleep at all.

Heading into this trip, knowing I’ll it was a Super 8, I had low expectations. I was pleased the expectations were exceeded! It was comparable to a Best Western or La Quinta, in my opinion. The rooms were cleaner than some nicer hotels we’ve stayed in, they were more spacious for our family of 6 than I anticipated, the breakfast was better and bigger than I thought, and all staff we encountered were very kind and helpful. The beds were Super 8 quality - hard mattresses, thin pillows, and the bedding could stand to be replaced as it was very worn. But never did I feel like I regretted our gamble to save a couple hundred and stay here. If you want to stay and lounge in your hotel room, maybe aim higher, but if you’re looking for a safe, clean, spacious room to sleep in, and decent breakfast to start your day, this place fits the bill and will save you money. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, I’d just maybe bring my own pillow next time. ;)
