Holiday Inn Knoxville-West, I-40 & I-75, an IHG Hotel

Great experience. So clean & comfortable. Hottub, kiddy pool & indoor outdoor pool was a bonus.

My family of 4 stayed in a room with a King bed and a sofa bed. It was perfect for us. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I liked that they provided good products (Dove brand) in the bathroom. The only downside I noticed was the TV remote didn't work well. I had booked our stay here, because of the pool. However we left our home state later than anticipated, so we didn't get to use it, even though it looked like a great pool. We had breakfast there and it was a good selection for everyone.

The restaurant sucked, no kids menu, and it said pizzas available Friday and Saturdays yet they weren’t available. Every thing we ordered had zero flavor. Chicken Alfredo, onion rings, tenders and fries were tasteless needed salt. Only the salad was good

This property is not one of the newest Holiday Inns but is still a nice hotel for the most part. Our room had quite a bit of dust and the AC soaked the floor. It was one of the smaller size Holiday Inn rooms we have stayed in. We chose this one for the pool and restaurant. The pool has long steps on both sides which was great for our 3 year old to play on. The kiddie pool outside wasn’t the cleanest, but she didn’t want to play in there anyways. The outside and inside connecting pool was cool, but the outside part is all deep like 5-6 ft. The breakfast was really good (we paid the $10 each on Expedia which was cheaper than paying at the hotel). However Ginny’s, the restaurant in the hotel we had dinner at, did not have the best service. We were forgot about quite a few times, our order was not put in the first time, etc. It just was not a good experience, but the food was ok.

The front office personnel was very professional she was impressive. She was very helpful and accommodating. Staff in the morning were very friendly. They were very pleasant in greeting me and my family.

Easy access to interstate and a few shops for necessary items. It was very clean and everyone was super friendly. This is the nicest Holiday Inn I've ever been to. The pool is indoor/outdoor and it has 24 hr access, which is AWESOME! Exercise in the mornings and pool time with the kiddos. The quality of the breakfast was wonderful and the coffee was smooth. We loved having a great running fridge and microwave in our room to save money on eating out.

We booked the king suite for a family of 4 but the pullout couch is the size of a twin. It’s not possible to sleep 2 on it even though the website lists availability for 4. Olivia at the front desk was amazing in getting our room changed thankfully. Besides it not fitting our family, the worst part was the couch (see pics). That should NEVER be placed in a room. Never! Especially with the price we paid (~$250). The rooms we moved to were much better, but still smelled musky or like someone was smoking pot in it previously. Overall the hotel is dated, but 1 night was fine. We booked it for the indoor/outdoor pool & basketball court. (Outdoor part was closed & inside pool was very small). The front desk, bar & restaurant staff were great!

Pool and toddler pool were terrific! Restaurant was wonderful. Rooms were comfortable!
