Hampton Inn Knoxville-West At Cedar Bluff

Hotel was great location for me. Staff very friendly. Hotel very clean. Food was average Hampton Inn food. Bed and pillows were great! What killed the stay for me was the paper thin walls. You can hear everything. First night in room next to mine was a yippy yappy kid who also had a very annoying cough. Very frustrating. Second night same room different people the TV was too loud. Total bummer.

We had a great stay! We came for a family visit and we were welcomed so kindly. The staff was excellent. The room was nice and clean and the beds were so comfortable. Our bathroom’s door stuck a bit but overall it was a good experience. Very close to everything!

To Whom It May Concern: The staff at Hampton, Knoxville Cedar Bluff is excellent. This Hampton was booked solid with high school baseball & gymnastics families in Knoxville for tournaments. Everyone wanted/needed something. Yet, the front desk manager, Sam, after giving us warm cookies, went out of his way to keep the pool open long enough for us to swim when we arrived a bit late. The breakfast manager, Kim, worked miracles to get families fed on time to meet their appointments. These kids were hungry, excited, arriving in droves and wanted hot food. Though plenty of cold food was available, they all wanted hot food & coffee and some were rather entitled. Kim, alone handled it with grace. When we praised the staff to the General Manager, Joe Cargo, he thanked us, recognized their quality & stepped in to help. We are well traveled, retired high grade managers for large corporations, in our late 70’s, have 5 children & lots of grandchildren- we know how to manage. These 3 managers are a tribute to Hampton Inn. If they were my staff, I’d give them each a bonus to ensure some other company doesn’t do it first. Respectfully, Christine Fuss

I usually don’t bother in writing reviews but this hotel went above and beyond. Our family of 5 needs 2 beds and a pull out sofa and we were placed in a room with only 2 beds. When we asked them if they had another room they were more than happy to upgrade us free of charge to a 2 bedroom suite. We offered to pay the extra but they insisted that we accept their kindness. Our family was very pleased!

While on a road trip, I chose to stay at Hampton Inn during a road trip alone with my kids. It’s usually a safe choice while traveling. We checked in around 8:30 and our thermostat was broken in our room so it was uncomfortably hot. I contacted the front desk and they came to my room to check. They then proceeded to go in and out of the room trying to fix it while I’m in there alone with my kids. They eventually could not fix it and put us in another room and that would be fine but the process ended up taking an hour which left my three kids going to bed later than expected and made the evening not relaxing as expected. There was so apology or offer to help with anything for ththe inconvenience. I expected more from Hampton inn.
