DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jackson

There were children running in the halls beating on doors going floor to floor. They pulled fire alarm at twice at 12:08am. Several guests went to front desk but were told security is looking into it. Will not be staying at Double Tree again.

I only had a one night stay but everything was amazing. I coordinated an event for my class reunion and everything went well with that. I also jave a family reunion coming up in the next couple of weeks where we have rooms booked. Expecting that to turn out well too.

This hotel is very close to attractions, which is why I chose to stay here, and is much nicer than budget options nearby such as the Casey Jones Motel. The warm cookies on arrival made my kids instantly fall in love with this hotel. The iced water was a nice touch as well. It's notable that this is an older hotel. You can tell just by the look of the interior walls. The rooms are rather basic, but up to standard and clean. There is a restaurant on site, but the hotel doesn't include breakfast in the rate, so we didn't eat there. My family loved their pool, and it was nice to have the pool to ourselves both at night before closing and in the morning after opening, but we wish they also had a hot tub. I was a little sirprised there wasn't one. It's worth mentioning that the pool area had not been cleaned at all between evening and morning; there were still used towels and a bottle of Coke that had been sitting there from the night before (not our doing). There was a janitorial cart outside of the pool doors in the hotel hallway that also had not moved since the night prior; my husband joked that maybe the cleaner quit and left their cart there. LOL!

I was not pleased. For the price I paid for one night, I expected a lot more. The AC wasn't working properly. We sweated while sleeping. The hallway reeked of weed. Nothing special about this hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool and cookies. I guess that was the highlight. I didn't eat breakfast here. You had to pay

1st off, my 12 yr old niece found a glass bottle in thr bottom of the pool and the desk girl seemed less than concerned! Next, the bed and pillows are HORRIBLE!! couldn't sit, nor sleep worth a darn!! The restaurant Twist was the absolute worst!! It was loud, children running amok and the waitress was an absolute disaster! We had two separate tickets, The food came out sporadically, and we had to ask where my appetizer and meal were. Then my hamburger was completely raw! My nephew's combo order was ignored and she brought him out a mostly raw baked potato!! My niece ended up feeding him from her dinner and had to order additional food once we got to the room...and then door dash left it in the outer door vestibule!! When we complained, my burger and his meal were removed from our ticket and she was still charged $63 + for her dinner and my appetizer was put on her tab??? We tried to stay at a higher end place to avoid this type of chaos and disappointment, what a mistake! I have tried to write Hilton and their website won't accept it?? Sadly, i wasted my free night plus and additional nearly $200 on booking here!

They allowed check in earlier. All the staff were great and the room was very comfortable. Just enough room for me and my family. Thanks doubletree!

After cleaning our rm towels was not replaced. And when we asked for towels they only gave us 2 at a time. We were a family of 4

The hotel is nice, staff was pleasant The hallway leading to the room had an odor. Also, the bath tub drain was clogged so whem taking a shower it filled with water. The carpet was wet from the foot of the bed to the heating/AC unit. I did find what looked like a baby roach or water bug in the bathroom as well.
