La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clarksville

The hotel is conveniently located just off the interstate and near lots of family friendly restaurants. However, they are dog friendly and when I checked in I thought I checked into a dog kennel. Dogs could be heard barking from several rooms and floors down into the lobby. The hotel, elevator, and rooms had a strong odor of dogs. My room was made up and appeared to be cleaned but upon closer inspection of the windows, walls, and surfaces it was filthy. The window in the room was smeared and covered in what appeared to be bodily fluids from a previous guests. The floors were dirty. I complained to the front desk and was told they would clean the window and room but it wasn’t until my second day there and asking the manager to come up to my room and see the mess, was it handled. The manager on duty, Zelda, was horrified by the conditions and offered me another room. She was very sweet and took care of all my requests and needs.

First time 5 straight nights in the same hotel. Despite the "pet friendly" environment, we were not bothered by an occationabark. Enjoyed the pool with grandkids. More vegitarian/lactose intollorant options would be nice, like soy/almond milk for cereal.

The 1-King/Executive Suite was the perfect set-up for my family and our pets. Remarkably quiet, even on the bottom floor and so close to the exit, and there was plenty of parking with a well-lit space found directly outside the door. Clean, safe. Best hotel experience of our Fall 2023 vacation.

Great visiting family

We have kids so, the floors was very nasty. I had to take one of the clean towels and mop the floors with the great Dove soap they had and the towel was just filthy. My son also has a thing with dogs so we had a great time with his allergies…

The night shift desk staff were great. They made check in easy and fast which was so welcome after 6 hours in the car with our toddler. When we got to the room, we found dirty socks on the floor within minutes as well as sticky stuff smeared all over the desk which we only found after my husband put his hand in it. Hair all over the place in the bathroom, etc. I was too tired to fight with it and I knew the hotel was full, so we moved our stuff to not be in contact with the ick and went to bed. We were running behind the next morning so I hurried out of the hotel and didn't get to talk to anyone. That night when we got back, I made contact with the same night shift support person as the night before to ask for more towels and then shared my concerns with him and asked for the proper way to address those things. He said the manager would be in the next morning and I could share with her at check out. When I spoke to the manager, she was incredibly short with me but said she would make a claim with the service I booked with to get a refund. I assume she's contacted hotels.com but she kept saying Expedia.

We were assigned room 222. It was extremely noisy in this room. There's no carpeting in room or lobby. You hear all the suitcases being wheeled in the lobby. We also experienced terrible neighbors that were truly very inconsiderate with kids running the halls screaming and banging on the walls well past 11pm. The room itself was very dusty with several hair ball dusty bunnies. The desk had something sticky all over the top. We hung the sign out for room to be tended to and it was ignored both times. No fresh towels, empty of garbage for a 3 night stay. Terrible just Terrible. Will never stay again. When asked to be reassigned to another room they were sold out.

It was a great stay so.nice to see families with thier pets have a comfy clean place to stay

No hot water in shower! It was lukewarm at best. The tub was slippery, without a nonskid surface or mat. The grab bar was ridiculously low and not useful for a person taking a shower. But mostly, no hot water!

Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. They did not provide a pack n play or crib which we were told they stopped providing due to Covid. Pool was chilly but my kids enjoyed the hot tub. Would stay there again.
