Aloft Chattanooga Hamilton Place

So convenient! Very friendly and helpful! Clean and everyone was happy and smiling. We felt very safe and loved our surroundings!! So many shopping choices and fun for kids! Loved our stay away from home!

We enjoy the convince to the mall. This was our 2nd time to stay here. This time our room was not as clean. We stayed 2 nights, and no one came to freshen our room. Also, there was not a luggage cart upon arrival, and we were told that other guests keep them in their rooms. We were not offered any other assistances other than sorry about your luck. The daytime staffer was very nice. The smoking area is at the front door. So, we had to walk through smoke to enter. Overall, ok place if you are single or not traveling with a family, as I was. I will stay in the downtown area in the future.

Very much do not recommend staying here. Our family arrived at 9 PM to a party atmosphere, and I was told by JR at the front desk he didn’t have a room for us with an odd lack of interest. He dipped in and out of our conversation, randomly interrupting us and dialing rooms on speaker phone to let them know their credit cards had been declined. It seemed like he was on something because he was really confused. He finally assigned us a room, which was awful. Very loud from the partying at the hotel, and we woke up with no hot water. Also, the bathroom has no door - simply a curtain to draw closed - so a huge lack of privacy and quiet for a family stay. We checked out at 5 AM with JR again, who was just as confused and rude as the night before. I asked for the manager’s name so I could call to discuss the cold water situation, and JR got angry and aggressive, telling me the hot water wasn’t his problem. I said, “I just want to check out, man, can I have my receipt please?” He started yelling across the room to a colleague, “MOLLY, I FEEL UNSAFE WITH THIS WOMAN!” Bottom line, a terrible experience. No hot water in our room made for a really unpleasant morning, culminating with aggressive, angry staff who tried repeatedly to escalate a situation where a guest simply asked for a manager’s name.

The Good: New Hotel, Clean, convenient, location, pool, Loft The hotel is next to everything. Cheesecake factory, Hamilton place mall, Dave and Busters. We found the people watching from our room quite alot of fun, especially when a storm came through, and the mall parking lot began flooding. The loft is great! had fun playing games with the family The Bad: Tiny room (2 queen beds standard room), clear shower doors, minimalist Any 2x queen room should have a shower door/wall that is not see through. Minimalism/trendy taken to the extreme. Alot of wasted space. Tiny table, no microwave. Breakfast is NOT included. paid $35+ for 4 items and some drinks. The food was just ok... Have had WAY better free breakfast's at other/cheaper hotel chains.

Family had a great time and the staff are very friendly and so much to do! Absolutely coming back for a family trip, girls trip, couples trip and even a me day!

The pool and firepit was very nice. Our kids liked it. I was worried about whether the room would be clean when we first entered the lobby. The rugs in the lobby were very dingy looking, many stains. Our room however was very clean thankfully.

Not family friendly or friendly at all.
