We’re glad our room was very spacious. With two little kids space is a requirement. The couch wasn’t comfortable and was hard. The refrigerator was scrubbed with a scouring pad or a wire brush, like maybe someone wrote or drew something on it. The bathroom door had been doodled on in black pen. The pool was shut down, which we weren’t aware of till we arrived. We paid $14+ to wash and dry two loads of laundry. The detergent and dryer sheets were free though. The walls of the hallway had white stuff on the wallpaper. There was this weird white box on the wall by the bed that we weren’t sure what it was. Overall it was a good hotel to stay at. It was clean, had modern decor, and spacious for a one bedroom. The appliances worked (we cooked on the stovetop). The refrigerator kept our drinks cold. The water pressure was decent in the shower.

The room was obviously not vacuumed. Tags from clothing on the floor. Baby pacifier in plain sight under couch. Makeup stained comforter. Blood stains on sheets. Pulled back sheets and found numerous long hairs. Pretty sure linen was not done. Shower are, showers still wet . Sediment in bottom of showers that needed to be rinsed away. Soap scum on walls. Hair on floor and in every corner . Dirty silverware in drawers. Windows still open with air running , I’m assuming to air out the pot smell . Every time we got on the elevator it reeked of pot. Switched to a new room at midnight . Still found tags to clothing on the floor. Dirty dishes put away and wet showers with sediment that needed to be rinsed out before my kids could get bathed. Fourth floor for our “upgrade”. Hair bands on the floor . Hallway littered with dirty laundry outside of rooms. Windows still open in all the rooms. Pot smell still everywhere. I understand everywhere is short staffed and the staff I did encounter were very nice but for the price paid for a family trip to see my son perform in bands of America . I was honestly embarrassed to be staying there and felt very uncomfortable sleeping in the beds and bathing there. Please check other hotels out beforehand. I had even asked for room service the next day to at least get my sheets changed but they told me that only happens if i were to be staying three or more days… we stayed two nights .

The hotel was perfect for a large group. We were 43 people in town for a 8U baseball tournament. It was close to park, good food, hotel was spotless, very reasonable priced, had indoor pool the kids loved, a small putting green area they also enjoyed. I would definitely stay again and will look for a Residence Inn in my future travels.

Mobile checkin is useless. You get a message that your key is being prepared, but they never work. When you are ready to check out, you will get a messagw that your digital key is ready at the front desk. No one was at the front desk when I arrived. I called the manager l, but he did not answer. I went in the back after a while and no one was there. Everything was open and unsecured. I finally wanteded back through the laundry facility and found the attendant. She apologized and said there was some bug going around. That was more conncerning, especially as a person who works in public health. Why was this person allowed to work while so ill? This is how outbreaks happen. I can't imagine staying here again. EmbassybSuites is right around the corner, and Hilton mobile checkin processes are seamless. My kids wa ted to swim when we got in, but taking so long to check in made that impossible before closing the pool.

Our stay was great! We are a family of 6 and finding hotel set-ups that accommodate that without having to have 2 room reservations is rare. The set-up was perfect! Breakfast was very well done and the entire place was CLEAN!!!! We will definitely be back if/when we are in Chattanooga!!!!

After a seven hour trip to Lake Winnie the Residence Inn was a very welcome sight upon arrival. The location was easy to find, the grounds were very well kept, the rooms were cool, clean, and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable, nice clean linens and nice layers of blankets. We would stay at the Residence again and would recommend this location to friends and family. It is like a home away from home. There is a nice courtyard with a firepit and gas grill right outside the indoor pool. There is a little market right outside check-in with a wide variety of food items that you could prepare in the oven or microwave in the complete kitchen. Wonderful trip to Chattanooga to visit with our grandchildren, they loved the Inn.

This hotel was not clean at all. The first room we were put in reeked of old cigarette smoke, and the room we were moved to had dirty sheets, covered in other people’s body hair. My husband asked for new sheets and we made up the bed ourselves. The sofa was littered with crumbs between the cushions—so much so that we didn’t want to use the pull-out sofa for one of our children. We asked for a rollaway bed for one of our children but the desk attendant said they “don’t do those.” The service was also less than stellar: we waited several minutes to check in, and then again when we asked to change rooms, and a third time to get new sheets.

We arrived with only 15 min left before the hot tub area closed but the front desk receptionist was kind enough to leave it open for us an additional half hour. Although the hot tub was fine, the pool was closed due to its chemicals. That would have been a deal breaker if my grandchildren were with us. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the free breakfast. The scrambled “eggs” were very artificial tasting and rubbery. I’ve seen those eggs you get at these breakfasts but this was worse. I couldn’t eat them. There was no breakfast potato and there were only plastic utensils. There was oatmeal with many topping choices, waffle maker, breakfast sandwich, sausage and bagels and cream cheese and breads which was good. The coffee was excellent, bold and rich. Breakfast was important to us as we were embarking on a 10 hour drive to Florida. Overall the place was new looking and clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. Next time I’m going to look for a place with an omelette service. Then I’ll know their eggs are real.
