The Westin Chattanooga

Placed room service order for my 3 and 5 year old. Waited an hour then called to check status. Was told would get a call back with update. No call came called back with no answer. Decided to just check out without feeding my family. THE LITERAL REASON WE STAYED HERE WAS FOR ROOM SERVICE.

Manager so mean and discrimination. Hotel has no air conditioning, for 4 days i stayed, they moved me to 3 different rooms for each day. first day no internet, even technician came could not fix then move me to other room, then air conditioning not working then move me another room another day , then the last day, we ordered breakfast and wait for 90 minutes no meal then my wife went down to restaurant to ask and manager discriminated my wife because we are asian and she was not even answer my wife then walked away to make my wife waiting and no response, later she came back and acted like she did not do anything wrong, she is manager and acted like a liar and a kid. Now with all those 4 days travels for my kid vacation, they made the vacation disaster they still charged you as 5 star hotel. this is an acceptable. even 3 star hotel would not treat you the way they treated my family. I believe i would not want this hotel anymore in my life. worst worst worst

Hotel was in a good location, near several restaurants, but a few blocks from most of the downtown attractions. The hotel lobby was great, and my children enjoyed sitting at the porch area so they could see the street action. The room is were it gets a little different. I thought (from pictures) that there was a small couch but it was actually just a little seat and a small stool which was disappointing. I turned down the AC the first night but noticed it was still a little warm. Went on the next day and not much change. After our second night of sweating, I called maintenance, which arrived promptly. They adjusted some things and I thought we were good. Came back from dinner and the room was still hot. Now at around 9pm called again, after waiting almost 45 minutes, I went to the front desk. They sent someone up and said we would have to change rooms at 9:45pm with a 8 & 10yr. First new room, no AC, Second room, good. I was happy we were able to be moved but I was a little upset they I wasn't even offered a complementary breakfast or anything. The last night we were there (5 nights) the gentleman asked for my room number to charge my water, when I couldn't remember the new number, he asked why. I told him the story and he gave me a "free" water and snack. Staff was very nice and I appreciated the room change.

Amazing place to stay for families!

Experience was awesome and specially kids had fun.

The Westin was very well located. Clean throughout. Has been updated in common areas & key areas for guests. While older hotel it has great open spaces lobby levl huge bar & open air common area. Pool on 2nd level was extremely crowded, never a chance to sit there & on holiday was dominated ny kids. Overall a great hotel & location ..
