Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Chattanooga Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Perfect spot in downtown. We had a toddler and there were so many restaurants that were walking distance. The aquarium and children’s museum is super close by. Friendly staff!

My kids enjoyed the time here….

Trip was a few days out with the grand children. Our stay there was great. Rooms were clean and roomy. The staff there were all very accomidating and friendly. There really isn't anything bad I could say about our stay there.

Such a great central location, walking distance to all activities in downtown Chattanooga (restaurants, kids museums, the river walk). The rooms and bathrooms are all very clean, modern and well maintained, the area was quiet at night, and the staff was great to let us park and drop off luggage prior to check-in so we can explore the city. Huge Thank You to Kayla King, the General Manager, who patiently assisted us to find the best room that fit our needs on this trip. She went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay and for that I'm forever grateful. We will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is nice, comfy beds and the room was very clean. I have just 2 things that I did not like, 1st the carpet in the aisles were not so clean, it cause a bad impression when you are going to the room, and there is no store inside the hotel that you can buy simple things, example milk when you have a baby.

My kids and I we not able to sleep do to the cockroach problem this hotel has, we have no choice to stay here do to bad weather witch this is the reason why we stay in a hotel in the first place.

Great downtown location, fabulous for families, wonderful pool, and doable workout facilities, with coin laundry option too. No parking, valet only, but plenty of adjacent street parking that is free on weekends.

Not staying here again. Arrived at 10:00pm to a lobby full of kids running everywhere. Coffee station was a disaster, trash was everywhere, nothing in the market was stocked, lobby was total mess, and the employees were nowhere to be found. After waiting at the front desk for a couple minutes, it turns out there were actually two employees in the lobby the whole time. They had been sitting playing cards with one of the families in the lobby. Hoped to use the gym, but it was scary dirty. Likely because the housekeepers were all standing in the breezeway by the pool smoking (designated no smoking area clearly marked) instead of...cleaning? So I went to the room. Unfortunately, the TV remote didn't work either. I wen to the lobby to get a spare, but the front desk team was distracted by their card game again. The next morning, the lobby was still a wreck, very little inventory on the market shelves, so I didn't spend any money while there. Well, the joke's on me b/c I now have to fight more than one erroneous charge to my credit card from the hotel today. I just wanted to be done with them. Stay ANYWHERE else in Chatty.

Perfect place to stay for Ironman. We upgraded from a two queen room to a one king and sofa bed suite looking for more room, but were surprised to find the sofa bed was smaller than a normal twin mattress! I didn’t complain, but our family of four didn’t fit that set up well. I feel they should’ve known the sofa wouldn’t hold two people.

Location was good. Restaurant was not kid-friendly. Wait staff were not attentive. Food was mediocre. We did not receive enough towels, coffee and toiletries were not replenished, and tv was hanging to one side.
