Best Western Plains Motel

Staff was so friendly. Coffee and popcorn was available in the lobby. The pool and hot tub were clean. The room was clean. The bathroom in the room with 2 queen beds and sofa was very small but adequate. One of my family members left earbuds in the room and I was contacted. The earbuds were shipped to me within hours. Complementary breakfast is available however we left before it was out at 6:30.

This motel was fine for our needs; it was not bad but not great, we had not stayed at a motel in many years but no complaints about this property. The location is good and for kids the two pools are great. For it being bike week, we were surprised at how quiet the area was, which is a positive. The room was good and we had no problems. Not having 24 hour lobby was a little strange but we managed. We would stay here again if we needed a location near Badlands NP.

This was such a lovely surprise. We had an issue with our rental car and the Best Western staff went above and beyond to help us in any way they could - advice, local mechanic recommendations, using their own air compressor, etc. Their authentic desire to help made us feel like part of the family. The room was also big and clean and the breakfast was good!

Wonderful family run hotel

This was a nice older property. We had a king room and it felt like there was a ton of furniture shoved in the room so there wasn’t much floor space, which was unfortunate since we had two portable cribs to set up. I wish the reservation had notes on if the room was going to be upstairs or not. I would have paid more for downstairs with all the luggage we had plus two little children. The building was older so some things were older but I would call it ‘charming’ or ‘western’ because it was in good condition. The bed was nice and clean. Breakfast was just so-so, but the staff was very kind and the owner was present and greeting guests frequently. Overall, it was a good stay for a pass through, I’d stay again.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!! My family with 2 kids, ages 11 & 8– were taken care of and blessed with the care from the staff. Everything from the front desk, cleanliness of the parking lot, amazing full breakfast, the most considerate breakfast crew, pool staff— THIS MOTEL WAS IMPRESSIVE. The room is spacious, love the touch of wood ceiling. Bathroom SPOTLESS. I’m a Hampton inn kind of person and was nervous what this would be like— it. Was. Perfect. Comfy beds!!! Excellent location for touring badlands & wall drug. This has topped out as our favorite stay ever!

The staff was so kind. Breakfast was fantastic and they keep small toys for the kids, it was very sweet!

This family owned hotel has a fabulous staff. The owner oversees that each room is perfect before you arrive. It is a great location to Wall Drugs. It is very special to stay at a hotel that has been in the family for 3 generations.

My family had a great stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. The gentleman serving breakfast was friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

We chose this hotel randomly. We were extremely pleased to learn it’s family-owned and many employees have been with them long-term.
