Best Western Plus Rapid City Rushmore

BW Rapid City was great, 10/10. Everything seemed new, clean, and worked well. I was surprised to learn it’s 6 years old, I’d assumed it was brand spanking new from how nice everything was. Free breakfast was good (I had eggs, sausage, tater tots, and yogurt) and they even had a couple of attendants hovering around to clean tables. Room had a decent working desk and proper office chair. Bathroom was spacious and in perfect working order. Plenty of light in room. Parking lot had abundant space. Slept like a baby. All for well under $ 100 a night. About as good as it gets.

Originally booked for 3 nights but only ended up staying 1. Pool was small and hot tub average size. A group of younger kids was ignoring the signage and diving in both areas leaving no space for others. Workout equipment didnt have sanitization wipes avaliable. Breakfast is adequate and busy hour of 7:30-8:30am. Room above us was very loud with heavy footsteps from 9pm to midnight making it difficult to sleep even with the sound machine

The property is in a good location of Rapid City; easy access to shopping, dining, downtown, etc. The hotel is clean and the breakfast buffet is very good. One complaint I will make is that the rules at the pool/hot tub area are not enforced. There are many young children (12 and under) that occupy the pool/hot tub area unattended with no parents, yelling/jumping in and out with floats, etc. until 11 PM at night.

This hotel is wonderful! It is clean, open, fresh, and it still presents like a new build! We stayed one night and checked out the next morning. Our room was a King suit with a couch bed. The room is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. When we turned out the couch bed it was clean, there were no stains, and the floor under the couch was just as clean as the entire room! There were two tv’s which the kids and hubby LOVED! The housekeeping staff really have to be commended here because the cleanliness of the room wasn’t just seen, it was felt! Visually you could tell the staff have been on point with their follow through! Breakfast was good. The dining areas was spacious and easy to navigate. The food was delicious. The three stations were well spaced and the cleanest most well serviced we’ve ever experienced! Two waffle makers with over an over a foot of counter space between them. A cereal station, juice and breads then sausages, egg omelettes and potato wedges. Hubby and the kids went to the pool and had a blast. His favorite was the hot tub. Like I stated before, this hotel feels, and looks like a new build. We were extremely impressed and plan to return!

Our room was dirty. The floor looked like they quickly vacuumed and left a lot of crumbs all over. The bathroom floor needs a good scrub. The toilet seat was broke so we asked them to fix it, they “mended” it as it was broke again the next time it was used. Didn’t bother to ask again to have it fixed. Beds are not comfortable and the pull out couch was awful, we went to buy a mattress pad as we had a four night stay. The hot tub broke down so we had a day and a half without that..which is inconvenient for the kids when that’s one of the perks of staying at a hotel.

Family and I had a great stay! The staff is very friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast offered in the morning is always a plus traveling with kids. The pool and hot tub were extremely clean and enjoyed by the kids. Overall, fantastic stay!

The hotel was perfect for our family! Very clean, very friendly, and the breakfast was really good. I like how they changed it up every day. I would definitely go back!
