Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hardeeville - Hilton Head, an IHG Hotel

This hotel is conveniently located right off the highway. It is very clean and bright upon entry. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We were able to get checked in quickly, with no issues. The room was exactly as pictured and expected. The beds are comfortable and provide a decent nights sleep. The toiletries provided in the bathroom are Dove brand— and the water pressure in the shower is fantastic for a hotel. And, the most important part— the breakfast buffet is one of the best selections our family has seen at a hotel. Fresh omelettes, Turkey and pork sausage, fresh fruit, yogurts, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal, a variety of cereals and hot and cold beverages. They are constantly refreshing it and again, the staff is above and beyond. If you are looking for an affordable stay that meets your needs, look no further. Book this hotel with confidence!

I was told to leave because my kids were playing in the room ??? First floor room 107

Nice staff. Since we had our dog with us they put us on the first floor. The problem the room was next to the elevator and the breakfast area so there was a lot of noise. It was a good room but poorly placed. A conference room would be a more appropriate use for the space. In addition to the crowd and traffic noise, we had a family with an over active young child who stumped for over 4 hours the first night then started early the next morning. Thankfully they left. The child made so much noise the front desk staff could hear it but did not do anything until my wife asked them to call the room.

Very comfortable stay in two rooms for a family of 6. The two adjacent rooms had two queens and a sofa bed in each! Very spacious and comfortable, with microwave and fridge in both rooms. Nearby restaurants are easy to get to, and staff is friendly and helpful. Our 4 teenage boys definitely did justice to the free breakfast buffet!

We reserved 2 months in advance we were put in a room next to the lobby, with poorly insulated door. Me, my wife and the 3 kids really needed some sleep between 2 long traveling days. Then, people have been talking loud and drinking beer, kids yelling until midnight. We asked 3 times to the person at the lobby to ask people to be quiet at that time as we were hearing as much as if we were in the lobby, didn't do anything, and the 3rd time gave us a few ear plugs, obviously not what we were asking for. The next morning we asked why there was not a "quiet hours" sign or something. They gave us a 75$ cash back payment, which was appreciated but too late still.

My family stayed in a double Queen suite. Upon opening the room door there was a terrible smell in the room. The room was not very clean. Food debris on the floor along with spills. The bathroom was not clean still had hair in tub and on floor from previous use. Breakfast the next morning no milk for cereal and just in general not good all the way around. Will not be staying here again. Thought it would be nicer being a holiday inn.

The front desk receptionist were so polite and helpful. Even though they were so busy. Clean and our kids loved the pool.

The one bed was directly on top of the air conditioning unit and you were unable to exit that side of the bed. The room was very very small and the pictures were not accurate at all to what we had. The crib we were given was very old and outdated and was partially broken so we did not use. The bedding was not very clean and beds were not made well at all. After coming from out of state and being in the car for over 10 hours and coming into the hotel with 3 kids it was not efficient. Check in was very aggravating as we pre paid online and we had to manually type in our credit card info 3 times with hand fulls of kids and it was very inconvenient. Also it does not mention it is sat within 100 feet behind a gas station so it is very very loud.

The beds themselves were clean and comfortable, which was the most important part. The room smelled like pee from the moment we opened the door. The bathroom floor was dirty, grout was cracked, and some tiles were loose and coming up. The tub grout was missing in most places. The room itself smelled and the surfaces had sticky spots all over. We wouldn’t take our shoes off and I wouldn’t let the kids play on the floor because the carpet smelled and was kind of sticky/damp, maybe from being humid. The elevator was dirty. The lobby and breakfast area was clean and fine, breakfast was good. It worked for what we needed it for, a quick night’s rest, but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer than that.
