Holiday Inn Express Bluffton at Hilton Head Area, an IHG Hotel

Adult with 5 kids very roomy accommodations and adequate lighting for all areas in the room

Our family had a great stay. Special shout out to Teresa who greeted us at breakfast every morning and gave us the Hilton Head map showing the local beaches and parking! The manager and the front desk staff were all extremely pleasant and friendly. Highly recommended and we will stay here again.

My stay was Sunday - Wednesday, called ahead to let them know I would be arriving late (330am-ish) but was on way. Drove 14 hrs from MA to SC. Upon arriving, the “welcome” was sorry we don’t have any rooms. I said I spoke to someone earlier and said I was on way but was arriving late. Reply was, well you didn’t speak to me. I said you have to be kidding me, I just drove 14 hours and have a reservation. Reply was, well I’ll try to check the system but I just had to turn someone away because we don’t have rooms. On top of the unbelievable messaging, the tone was incredibly rude. I ultimately get checked into the room that I had reserved, needed to get a quick sleep in before meetings, then just several hours later people from the hotel don’t even knock and open my door and flip the lights on, say sorry and walk out. I usually like staying at this hotel because it’s in a good location to get around blufton, but this experience was ridiculous. I’ve never filled out a review before but this was over the top.

This is the only property I would stay at before becoming a resident here and now this is the only place I will recommend to family and friends visiting the area. All around great hotel!

My family felt the staff was unnecessarily rude to us. The more senior staff had attitude and came off like they did not like their jobs.

We had a great stay at this property! Staff was very nice. Property was very clean and fresh smelling. Very close to shopping areas. Bluffton is really growing and it was only a 25 minute drive to the beach. Will definitely stay again next year and recommended to family and friends.

There was no lounge area for get-togethers with family or friends.

Let me say that our recent stay from 6/21-6/23 was terrific. From check-in to check-out, everything was exceptional. The staff was friendly and courteous and our rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was also great! The location was great for my family and it was centrally located for all we desired to do. Cuddos to the entire staff, inclusive of the front desk, housekeeping, and janitorial depts. (We had quite a bit of rain and the janitorial staff ensured that the lobby floor was clean our entire stay)

I traveled all day from CA and arrived in Bluffton. Manny checked me in. Was given a room after much searching for my name, etc. I went up to the 4th floor and entered my assigned room only to discover that it was already occupied! Had to go all the way back to front desk for another room. Manny did not apologize. Just talked about how hard he was working. He also rolled his eyes at me a couple of times this week and in general did his best not to be helpful. Armani, on the other hand, made us cookies and secured my purse when I inadvertently left it in the lobby after a conference call. She was delightful! One weird thing at this property is that after 9:30am the front lobby was closed off with cones and a cord until the next day, so no one could sit at the tables or watch tv. Or get a cup of coffee, even though the urns were full. I had several conference calls and some computer work to do so I wanted to hang out in the lobby (my family was staying with me). It was awkward not having access to the hotel lobby.
