Best Western Plus Hardeeville Inn & Suites

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Hot breakfast was served every morning with a variety of food options. An attendant continually mantained the food and eating area, cleaning and replenishing as needed. It was our first trip bringing our puppy and there were several areas to take the puppy out for walks and bathroom needs. The hotel was in a safe and quiet area. The personnel were all so nice and friendly. The pool was comfortable and well maintained. This place will be on our list for future stays in the area.

The amount of staff is totally unacceptable. There was only one person at the reception desk with no backup to handle any other problem in the whole hotel!!!!! My dog was locked in the room while I got coffee in the morning downstairs and when I got back to the room my key card wouldn’t work so I went to the front desk and she supposedly fixed my card but it still didn’t work so I went back to the hotel lobby and the same person went back to my room and said the battery was dead in the door and she used some device to get it open. She said I had to keep the door open and get my things and my dog because when the door shut it would lock again and she left me! What if the dog were a young child screaming at the top of its lungs?! I shouldn’t have been left alone to handle this situation. I’m 81 years old!!!!!!! I have a good mind to go on the internet and warn people about your place. There is no excuse for being treated so poorly. This is the first time I have been so aggravated that I have taken the time to send in a complaint. I hope it’s the last.

The check in process was smooth and efficient. The room was spacious for a family of four. The free breakfast had lots of options including waffles, cereal, oatmeal bar, eggs, bacon, gravy, biscuits, packaged pastries, yogurt, juice, coffee, and milk. While the beds were full/queen size, the area around the beds was open enough to not feel cramped while in the room. The cleanliness was in need of improvement. The room was dusty, the hallways/stairs of the hotel needed vacuuming, and the hotel smelled like food smells, as if there wasn’t enough venting in the food prep area. Overall, we needed an affordable and convenient place to stop enroute to our destination, and this hotel fit the bill.

We checked in later in the evening, man at the desk not very welcoming, key holder looked like it had been used a 100 times :(. Bath towels a bit dingy….. convenient to family for the holiday

Hotel was satisfactory. Room was very nice/clean. My one issue was (and I don't know if they exist) but, we requested a pet friendly room and from years of traveling with pets the rooms we've had the beds are not open underneath. Ours was. Trying to get a skiddish pet from under a bed in the morning is an issue.

This was a very clean hotel. I was very impressed. Staff were very nice and helpful. My family and I would stay there again.

We stopped at this hotel because it had a pool for the kids. The pool was closed... we also booked a double queen room. We got a double full room ... not impressed.

Staff were nice and helpful, breakfast was good, there was an odor in the hall way and fans drying so not sure if normal or if something had happened but rooms were clean and odor free. We were just passing through as a family and it was just what we needed for the night.

Stayed over with family for a night - had booked 2 suites. The rooms are fabulous. The heat in hallways were a little bit too much and the noise coming from the downspouts was incrediby loud. However, the overall conditions of the place including breakfast was fantastic. Minor hiccups that were resolved made this place a must stop at again. The manager was beyond fantastic.

Front desk gave us a room they also have to someone else. That person walked into our room just after I got out of the shower. Called and spoke to the manager who said we were not supposed to be in that room. I said not my fault you gave us this room. Husband walks down to speak to them and over hears they also double booked another room where two families had the same room/key. Gym - nothing worked. Roaches in the room
