Comfort Suites Greenville South

Pros: The room was clean and spacious and building is in good condition. Across a parking lot from a Cracker Barrel which is also nice. Cons: breakfast is lacking options, and the attendants (for both mornings) seemed to struggle to keep up with demand. One of the elevators was out of order so there was a lot of demand (and waiting) for the one that worked. I finally just started taking the stairs. Also, the pool was out of order which was a huge bummer for my kids bc we specifically sought a hotel with an indoor pool. Bottom line: if all you need is clean bed, then this an option. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

The receptionist was frandly. The pool was open for my kids. Breakfast was good, except the bisquets was not well cooked.

Room was clean, the hot breakfast was delicious, my family and I enjoyed our stay.

Had a great stay. Accommodated several changes to registration due to family problems and was very friendly and compassionate. This is my preferred hotel anytime I'm brought to the Greenville sc area.

We had a power outage and needed an air conditioned place to stay for the night. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice, clean, and upgraded this hotel is! Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the AC was COLD! So grateful this hotel is nearby and I’ll happily recommend to friends and family coming to town.

Microwave broken. Staff did not try to get another one or offer the use for of one temporarily. Act as if it was my problem. It was late, cold, and rainy. My kids needed to eat. We checked out immediately. Dirty bathroom as well.

The value is phenomenal, the staff and management are lovely and their suites are super spacious for families!

We arrived an hour after check in and the room wasn’t ready. Then when we got to the room the cleaning staff was in the hall so clearly they were running late. We walked in and there was popcorn all over the floor. I asked the staff if the room had been cleaned and they said yes. I told them there was food on the floor and one of the staff became defensive saying she just ran the vacuum. Then the room above us had a bunch of kids running around nonstop pounding on the floors and walls. When I shared with the front desk they did nothing. I’ll be requesting a partial refund.

Most everything about this hotel was alright. If I was being picky, the bathroom door didn't want to stay shut unless you slammed it. The biggest problem was a lack of breakfast. There was no breakfast to speak of. Nothing hot, no yoghurt, bread, milk, apple juice, waffle batter or syrup. There were dozens of people standing around waiting on breakfast to appear, but the staff said that the kitchen person wasn't there today and I guess that means patrons must do without. There was dry cereal, and a packet of oatmeal. Lemonade was the only drink dispenser that worked, and the place was pretty filthy. When I asked the manager and other staff members on duty, they just said "sorry". I took my family next door to cracker barrel to eat, but won't forget the only hotel I have EVER stayed in that didn't provide the advertised breakfast. If it's any consolation, another few families were in the breakfast area and spoke super highly of the breakfast the day before. They said it was the exact opposite of that morning's experience, but I guess the hotel has nothing in place to take care of it's customers if someone is sick or unable to come to work.

Super clean updated rooms. Pool and fitness area was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only bad thing was the pool wasn't heated as advertised but that was out of their control. My kids and I enjoyed our stay.
