I used this spot as a recovery haven after ambulatory surgery . It was great. It had enough room for my kids to stop over! It was clean and stylish.

Hotel lacked accessibility which was problematic during our stay. The virtual front of house staff was less than courteous given the time of year when thousands of college kids are moving into their dorms and thusly staying in hotels- going shopping etc. very displeased with basic human kindness. A prime example of sterile american capitalism.

Rave all night downstairs. Music so loud it shook the walls. Drug induced kids everywhere. This place will have its license revoked or a fatality before it goes out of business. Absentee management.

Excellent hotel with generous size rooms. Small kitchenette and table with chairs was perfect for breakfast. I'll definitely stay again visiting family in town. Only area for improvement would be brighter lighting. The eco bulbs are fine but wattage was super low.

Great place and great location. If you worry about the location being staffless, don't be. Checkin and checkout couldn't have been easier. The instructions provided were clear to where a toddler could've done it. The room was huge and comfortable and had a fantastic view of the church across the street. The hotel was very quiet - we didn't hear a single sound from our room. We felt secure in the hotel and in the surrounsing area. Downtown and any other destination was reachable by car in 15 mins even with traffic. We only had three relatively minor issues with our stay. 1. The water - there are only two shower temperatures at the Maverick: Ice and scalding. Trying to turn the knob to get any other temperature took the precision skills of a bomb tech and a neurosuregon combined. I felt like I was trying to crack a safe. 2. While there are plenty of places to park, parking can only be paid for between 8am and 12 midnight. So dont plan on sleeping in as you need to get up around 8am to pay the meter (on the app or physically). This wasn't told to us by the hotel, but thankfully only inconvenienced us one morning aince we were doing a lot of exploring. 3. Barn doors for bathrooms are passé - maybe they were hipstery in 2010 but no more - and impractical. Form follows function!!! If I or my s.o. needed to use the restroom while the other was asleep, the door would make the noise of a freight train. That said, the Maverick is great. We will def stay there again without question
