Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh University Place

Stayed at this hotel to meet family in the city. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Staff were professional and helpful.

Highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn. They did an amazing job over Pitt graduation weekend. The staff were friendly, efficient, helpful and gracious. We arrived to discover that we only reserved (months before) a room for two when we had three. They offered a rollaway bed, which arrived quickly and was super nice and comfy. (I was expecting a little cot!) The lobby was beautifully decorated for graduation weekend, including a spot for photos with Pitt grads and families. I witnessed the hotel manager helping someone with a medical emergency and he did so with empathy and authority. Other hotel staff worked hard throughout the weekend to keep the place spotless and all while being friendly and upbeat. I'd high recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the University. Convenient location just a few blocks from campus and near dining options and shopping.

Run down room, broken shower head, exhaust was sealed inside glass shower, loud kids in adjoined room, drunk guy upstairs, placed next to service elevator, breakfast not worth 15$. Great location though. Not worth the 200$+ a night price tag after fees.

Perfect place to stay if you are visiting your kids at Carnegie or the University of Pittsburgh. In the heart of college town and all within walking distance. Hotel was clean and staff friendly.

My daughter was in town for one night for a residency interview. She was away from family and checked in on Valentine's day. She sent us a picture of the box of chocolates that greeted her in her room. Thanks for the special touch.
