Hampton Inn & Suites Philadelphia Montgomeryville

From the time we checked in, the front desk staff was friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We spent the day in Philadelphia so we didnt return back to our room until after dinner and to ready for bed. The beds are very uncomfortable. I did not get a wink of sleep. The matresses are hard, the pillows too soft that they deflat under the pressure of your head. I have stayed in many Hampton inn hotels and this by far was the worse night's sleep. In the morning, the family got ready for the day, showers, getting dressed, etc. The phone rang in the middle of readying. A call from the front desk that the room below was complaining about the walking around. We should not have received a call about that complaint unless it was an expectation that we float around the room to ready ourselves. Anyhow, the tub floor and bathroom floor are very dangerouse when wet. My 4 year old slipped and hit his head in the shower just from stepping in. There was not a non slip liner on the floor of the tub, which is a little concerning being the room we stayed in is a "accessible" room. When it was time for my son to exit the shower, I made a point to hold on to him assist him with his exit. I then slipped on the bathroom floor and busted my knee. Just the smallest amount of water makes the floor completely unsafe to walk on. Some of the pros however, was the hot breakfast offered in the morning. The kids enjoyed the options that were available. As well, the adults. And the pool area was fun.

Nice hotel, pool was good for the kids and fitness area provided nice options. Room was comfortable and fit the needs for 2 adults and 2 young kids.

Staff was very courteous also housekeeping and kitchen staff was very polite everything was neat & clean breakfast was good and I liked getting the two complimentary bottles of water upon arrival. Overall I was very pleased with the service would definitely recommend it to family and friends👍

It is a great location for visiting family in Ambler PA.

Hotel room was fine, but very small and cramped. Had a difficult time finding a place to fit the Pack n Play. Not enough towels (3 towels for 4 guests plus a baby) tissues ran out on day one of four and I was told I couldn’t get another box. Pool was small and unheated, hot tub was empty and broken. Upon checking in, I could not find anyone at the front desk, and when they finally did arrive, the staff was not friendly or welcoming and both the man and woman were dressed unprofessionally. Later in my stay, I was greeted by Maleeka. She was friendly, helpful, and dressed appropriately for her position at Hampton inn. She was great! The other young lady was dressed more appropriately for a bartender at a night club, with lots of skin showing and no name tag or Hampton Inn insignia. The man was dressed very casually and no name tag or Hampton Inn insignia to identify him as an employee, and no smile either. Next time I’ll stay at Staybridge Inn next door.

Check in to the room 212 hod mold smell from the AC and yellow stain on the ceiling, than after contacted Expedia room was changed to 322 and was great, than I was not notified at the check in that is an issue with the pool and hot tub, so when I got downstairs to swim with the kids on the door was a notice that pool is not heated and hot tub is not working. I reached to Expedia agent for some reimbursement of my stay because I paid $189 and they said sure they will see what they can do. And will send an e-mail, however I did not received any email I reached the agent today and nothing was in the system even, so the agent contacted the property in regards the issue today and Dustin said that the pool was working last night and the temperature was 76F. I can believed that a hotel with good reviews treated me like a layer. Worst experience in my life and will definitely stay away from the brand of the hotel that is not honest when things are not working the way they should. Big shame for the hotel that hire staff that had no clue of not working pool and hot tub.

Dave accommodated us by upgrading our room with no additional cost at the last minute...our romantic getaway turned into a family vacation last minute (babysitter got COVID). Expedia policy would have charged us the first day fee so we took the kids and had a great time. Breakfast is included and Nancy makes the best breakfasts! We stayed two nights and she had a different assortment of good food each day. Staff was super friendly (Thank you,Dave), hotel was very clean, but Nancy's breakfasts made the mornings worth it!

The staff was very nice, the property was clean. The beds were not comfortable. There was a sofa bed that you could literally feel the coils in your back so our two small kids had to sleep in the king bed with us. It was not comfortable. It wasn't acceptable to sleep in. The bedding was not comfortable either, it wasn't big and fluffy and cushy as you would expect in a hotel, it was thin and not overly nice. Overall the property was nice and fine for a night or two. The staff was friendly and there was a good easy breakfast that had a lot of hours which was helpful since we were in town for a hockey tournament with weird hours and lots of hungry kids.

Good stay. Perfect for our family weekend away. Close to where family members live. Very convenient to highways and getting about as needed. Restaurants and shopping close by.
